Description

Now you can personalize any project! Using the Carefree font, this die cuts one each of the 26 letters in the English alphabet. Use to embellish appliqué quilts, garments, home decor projects and much more! Perfect use for scraps or stash. Apply fusible web to the wrong side of fabrics before cutting for appliqué shapes that are ready to fuse and appliqué.

Die Specifications:

  • Compatible with: GO! Fabric Cutter (55100)
  • Required: GO! Cutting Mat-10" x 24" (55113)
  • Cuts one each:

    • Cuts one each of 26 letters 3"H (7.62 cm), widest letter is 4 1/2"W.

Storage: Organize GO! dies with AccuQuilt GO! Die Storage Rack (55115).

Die Tips:

  • Cut up to 6 layers of cotton fabric at a time. For thicker fabrics, start with fewer layers and build up.
  • With some fabrics, after cutting, a thread or two will remain where die blades meet. Snip threads with scissors.
  • Use cutting plastic that matches size of each die.
  • For best results, cut with die blades running under roller at an angle. Do not cut with blades parallel to roller.
  • Blades on some dies are positioned at an angle. Align fabric to edge of shape, not edge of die board.
  • Some dies feature specially designed corners to aid in alignment and pre-cutting.
  • For fast applique, apply fusible web to fabrics, then cut shapes with dies.
  • Use good quality fabric to reduce fabric stretch.
  • It's always a good idea to test cut one shape before cutting many shapes to ensure fabric orientation is correct.

Care & Maintenance: Use adhesive roller to clean lint and thread from dies. After each use, with the die pick provided with the cutter, remove any threads embedded between blades and foam. It's normal for threads to get caught where blades meet in a die. Remove with tweezers or die pick. Die blades never need to be sharpened.

Warranty: AccuQuilt GO! dies are guaranteed for one year.

what about the GO baby Review by Grace
Overall Rating

I have just registered my GO baby and would love letters for it, but not at that cost, and like many others, cost and size of die are important, to run the entire die through is hard on the cutter mat also, would love to have the vowels on one die, predominant letters on second, and less used letters on 3rd and 4th die. Like the product, but everyone seems to be counting costs right now and I am one of them

suggestion Review by Lorrie
Overall Rating

I would love to own the entire alphabet but I agree with many others, I just can not afford it. I think it would be neat to offer all the vowels plus Y on 1 die and then offer 4 other dies with 5 consonants on each die. If each die was priced at $30-$40 I think sales would most likely increase. I will be the 1st customer!

Love this die! Review by Jo
Overall Rating

I purchased this die set last week and have played around with it. I am amazed at how beautiful the letters cut. I can't wait to use this along with the rag quilt die. I am so thankful that with the adapters I can now use these dies with my studio.

Dies too long Review by Mary
Overall Rating

Recently purchased this die set - it is too long and if you only want to do one letter you have to roll the entire die through taking too much time. Would prefer a series of 4 - 6 dies. However, the letters are great, but I paid almost as much as the machine cost to cut them with. They are also very bulky to store.

Great to have! Review by Lindsay
Overall Rating

I purchased these to use as appliques on rag quilts and they have been great. It is easier and faster to cut these letters out on the accuqilt go vs. embroidering them on my machine. The one thing that I would have liked better was if they were in four sets instead of two. They are a little bulky and I think splitting them up into 4 separate dies would make them easier to handle. Other than that they are great!

I'd like 2" letters Review by GayleJ
Overall Rating

I was considering purchasing these, then I realized they are just too big for my purposes. I would rather see 1 1/2" to 2" letters. For instance someone with a long name couldn't get that name across the back of a sports jacket. My granddaughter is 14 and very petite and I would like to do her name on something for her sports team. 3" letters are way too big. Please consider for the near future.

Would love to have the alphabet dies, but maybe a smaller set? Review by Shawna
Overall Rating

I love that you're now offering these alphabet dies, but like so many others have already mentioned the price is just too high. Would you consider selling alphabet dies with just one or two letters on them? Maybe even in different fonts and sizes?? That way people could just buy the ones they need, at a lower price per die, and build up a collection over time.

Great idea! Review by Catherine
Overall Rating

At the risk of sounding like a broken record...the price is too high! I have the Go! and I see the value for a lot of the dies that are offered and their price. $199 is just too steep. It would make sense to lower the price since it sounds like there are a lot of customers who would like to purchase......?
