Storage: Organize GO! dies with AccuQuilt GO! Die Storage Rack (55115).
Care & Maintenance: Use adhesive roller to clean lint and thread from dies. After each use, with the die pick provided with the cutter, remove any threads imbedded between blades and foam. It's normal for threads to get caught where blades meet in a die. Remove with tweezers or die pick. Die blades never need to be sharpened.
Die Tips:
- With some fabrics, after cutting, a thread or two will remain where die blades meet. Snip threads with scissors.
- Use cutting mats that matches size of each die.
- For best results, cut with die blades running under roller at an angle. Do not cut with blades parallel to roller.
- Blades on some dies are positioned at an angle. Align fabric to edge of shape, not edge of die board.
- Some dies feature specially designed corners to aid in alignment and pre-cutting.
- For fast applique, apply fusible web to fabrics, then cut shapes with dies.
- Use good quality fabric to reduce fabric stretch.
- It's always a good idea to test cut one shape before cutting many shapes to ensure fabric orientation is correct.

Overall Rating I love using the Apple Core die. It is so simple and makes cutting this design out so easy. I cut the fabric for two quilts using this die in about 20 minutes. Love it.

Overall Rating I really wanted to make a million apple core quilts! I just love the shape...but alas...I suck at sewing too much for this to be a reality! I am a newbie quilter..I just couldn't figure out how to sew this properly. Now the die itself is PERFECT. I would suggest it for those with a little more sewing skill than I have though....

Overall Rating I struggle with cutting curved pieces, and probably wouldn't have tried to make an Apple Core quilt (let alone two!) if I had to cut patches by hand. Thank goodness for AccuQuilt! This die cuts smooth, perfect pieces, which means the patches sew together perfectly!

Overall Rating I have to admit that sewing my first apple core seam was a trial, but once I got that out of the way, the rest were very fun! The notches make it easy to match the seams to perfectly assemble the pieces. I saw some acrylic templates for apple corers and laughed, since the idea of perfectly cutting apple cores with a rotary cutter or scissors seemed difficult and complicated with all the curves.

Overall Rating This die is awesome for saving time. Usually the Apple Core shape is a really hard shape to cut properly. Using this die you can quickly cut out all of the shapes you need for an entire quilt. I cut mine out in less than an hour!

Overall Rating I love this die. My mom sewed, and taught me to sew, but for some reason, we never made quilts. They have become my passion and this die certainly helps me get where I want to be. It is simple, yet I would never be ashamed to give a quilt, table runner, tote or anything made using this die.

Overall Rating I ordered the Apple core die my last purchase after many failed attempts prior to getting my Accuquilt Go! I have never been very accurate in cutting out the inner curve of the Core so when it arrived a couple of weeks ago I immediately had to try it out. In a short while I had enough to sew a lap quilt. I just love my Accuquilt Go and am eagerly awaiting my new shipment of die. We just bought a new king sized bed and have a lot of sewing planned ahead for a new quilt for it. It would take forever to cut all the pieces out for a quilt that large but this machine makes it so easy! I can't tell you how happy I am to have found it!

Overall Rating I cut 1/2 of my pieces out of white, and the other half out of a variety of neutral colors, and in about 20 minutes had enough pieces for a large baby quilt. It would have taken me hours to cut these pieces out by hand. Love it!
