Love the cool, fresh look of this modern twist on an old style!

Am presently working on making my quilt. I read the previous review from Darlene - noted above where she comments on having to use reverse parallelograms on fabric for the reverse side. I agree with her that the instructions do not specify making sure that fabric is cut reversed.
I am lucky that I was cutting for two quilts at the same time and just happened to cut out reverse shapes without realizing it...
The pattern should have those instructions added so that this issue can be dealt with.
The quilt is working up much faster then I thought - once I got the hang of pinning the pieces in the right directions.
Will definately make another quilt if not more....

I made this for our closed in patio because I thought it would look beautiful with the white wicker furniture, it was perfect. I disagree with previous review, it looks great in white. It probably would look great against black too, or really and color (I can see it with grey too).

No where in the instruction do I see where it tells you to cut half of the parallelograms reversed, so that you can make left unit strip rows and right unit strip rows. I cut out all my pieces the same. Now I have to go buy more fabric to complete this quilt.

I love color, any color, and this pattern has alot of different in it. I like the pattern, I believe it would look good using black instead of white.
