Storage: Organize GO! dies with AccuQuilt GO! Die Storage Rack (55115).
Care & Maintenance: Use adhesive roller to clean lint and thread from dies. After each use, with the die pick provided with the cutter, remove any threads imbedded between blades and foam. It's normal for threads to get caught where blades meet in a die. Remove with tweezers or die pick. Die blades never need to be sharpened.
Die Tips:
- With some fabrics, after cutting, a thread or two will remain where die blades meet. Snip threads with scissors.
- Use cutting mats that matches size of each die.
- For best results, cut with die blades running under roller at an angle. Do not cut with blades parallel to roller.
- Blades on some dies are positioned at an angle. Align fabric to edge of shape, not edge of die board.
- Some dies feature specially designed corners to aid in alignment and pre-cutting.
- For fast applique, apply fusible web to fabrics, then cut shapes with dies.
- Use good quality fabric to reduce fabric stretch.
- It's always a good idea to test cut one shape before cutting many shapes to ensure fabric orientation is correct.

Overall Rating I haven't actually made a hexie quilt yet, but I have used this die for scrap management. When I finish a project I cut the leftover scraps into squares and hexagons and store in stacks! So, someday soon I will have enough to start a scrappy hexie quilt!! Love it!

Overall Rating I used the 3" die to cut out a king size quilt. It was so fast to cut the hexagons - I never would have been able to piece it together in a years time without the hexagon die. I need to figure out how to finish a border on it so I can finish it. My "to do" project for this year.

Overall Rating I love this set! I use it for English Paper peicing. The smallest hexie, I use for cutting wax paper. It fits perfectly into the middle size hexie, which I use for the fabric. It really saves me a lot of time and the cuts are absolutely perfect!

Overall Rating My favorite quilt is a scrappy hexagon handed down from my grandmother, so I'm a big fan of hexies! This die takes the tedium out of cutting perfect patches, so sewing is "sew easy" again. I love all three sizes, and have even cut lightweight wool patches for scarves. This die is a "must have" for me.

Overall Rating I've always wanted to make a hexagon quilt, with this die it made it much less time consuming. It was even possible to sew them together with a machine instead of by hand. Perfect cut every time.

Overall Rating I have so much fun with this die. I love being able to use the large hexagon within a large square and also using online patterns to create even more fun designs. If you like to experiment with different sizes and shapes this is a die for you!

Overall Rating I have always admired hexagon quilts but had lots of difficulty cutting them using templates. Purchased this die and made a really nice quilt for my Granddaughter using 5 inch charm pack The equilateral triangles that match the die made for a perfect quilt!!! So easy to put together. I purchased the giant hexagon and will try that one next.

Overall Rating I wanted to make an I Spy quilt for my grandchildren and was cutting the hexs by hand with a template. I was nearly finished when my die came. The blocks I cut with it are very crisp and just perfect! The quilt top is fabulous!

Overall Rating I have wanted this die for a while and am so thrilled to have it. I was cutting material for my month in a quilting bee and decided to use the scraps to cut hexies that I'll use on the quilt back. In a few minutes I had 50 hexies. Uniform, perfectly cut, minimal waste. Awesome.

Overall Rating The perfection of these makes Grandma's flower garden patterns and even papers for paper piecing quick and easy. I am branching out to new designs because of the Accuquilt dies. Not as afraid to tackle some of the more intricate shapes!
