I just received my CD and my first impression was disappointment. I have come around a little, though. First, there is no 'index' or instruction page - when I purchase embroidery designs, I expect a visual of what I am getting - at minimum a picture of each design on the CD and better yet a thread change chart along with the picture. If you don't have your own design software to take a look at the designs, you are flying blind. Second, there is just one decorative design per shape. All the rest are just outlines. For simple shapes like these, I can make my own outlines fairly easy.

However, it does save me the time and hassle of degitizing those outlines. so, I'll get my money's worth out of the.

Bottom line, if you are a beginner, except for the lack of a printable page of designs and thread change instructions, you will like these. If you are advanced -and if you love playing around with your digitizing software, skip this one. I'm somewhere in between - I probably won't buy any more simple shape design sets -I'll make my own. But for the more complex shapes - I'll be back for more.

This does a nice job of embroidering the shapes from the GO cutter. It has a variety of stitches available, which is great. However, there are no instructions with or on the CD, so I would not recommend this to anyone with little experience with the embroidery machine.

No matter how hard I try to put a nice finishing edge on my appliques, they somehow fall short of the look I want. No such problem using the outline designs in this collection. I also just love it that there is more then 1 choice in outline stitches. Now, by using this, I can just 'zip' around those appliques. I can't wait until I can budget in the purchase price for the other collections.
