These super cute planes are sure to bring a smile to the little darling in your life. Combine these appliqué shapes with those found in the GO! Nursery Die Set (50411) to create special baby gifts.
Apply fusible web (50522) to the wrong side of fabrics prior to cutting for quick and easy appliqué.Die Specifications:

Storage: Organize GO! dies with AccuQuilt GO! Die Storage Rack (55115).
Die Tips:
- Cut up to 6 layers of cotton fabric at a time. For thicker fabrics, start with fewer layers and build up.
- With some fabrics, after cutting, a thread or two will remain where die blades meet. Snip threads with scissors.
- Use cutting plastic that matches size of each die.
- For best results, cut with die blades running under roller at an angle. Do not cut with blades parallel to roller.
- Blades on some dies are positioned at an angle. Align fabric to edge of shape, not edge of die board.
- Some dies feature specially designed corners to aid in alignment and pre-cutting.
- For fast applique, apply fusible web to fabrics, then cut shapes with dies.
- Use good quality fabric to reduce fabric stretch.
- It's always a good idea to test cut one shape before cutting many shapes to ensure fabric orientation is correct.
Care & Maintenance: Use adhesive roller to clean lint and thread from dies. After each use, with the die pick provided with the cutter, remove any threads embedded between blades and foam. It's normal for threads to get caught where blades meet in a die. Remove with tweezers or die pick. Die blades never need to be sharpened.
Warranty: AccuQuilt GO! dies are guaranteed for one year.

Overall Rating I just love the airplanes. My father-in-law is a pilot though due to health concerns he is no longer able to fly. I would love to make him a quilt using this die - it should really "lift" his spirits.

Overall Rating A biplane is just too difficult to handcut, so seeing this die nearly made me swoon. Unfortunately it's out of stock (boo hoo) so my grandson will have to wait. He loves planes, especially WWII biplanes.

Overall Rating I love airplanes and want this die so much but the planes are too small. One is about 4 " and one is about 5". It would take a lot of airplanes to make a quilt. Some of these should cover more territory especially for the price

Overall Rating I wish I had this die a few months ago when I used a design very similar to the top design on the die and had to cut them all by hand. I think the top design is more user friendly. I would love to see that design at a cheaper price. Other simple/user friendly dies in trucks, trains and other "boy" related designs would be great. Please keep making more affordable designs.
