This cat and bat are perfect for your Halloween projects. Combine these shapes with GO! Pumpkins (55323), GO! Circle-8" (55360) for full moon, or GO! Fall Medley (55041) to create any number of spookalicious ensembles for festive home decor, costumes, trick-or-treat bags and so much more!
Apply fusible web (50522) to the wrong side of fabrics prior to cutting for quick and easy appliqué.Die Specifications:

Storage: Organize GO! dies with AccuQuilt GO! Die Storage Rack (55115).
Die Tips:
- Cut up to 6 layers of cotton fabric at a time. For thicker fabrics, start with fewer layers and build up.
- With some fabrics, after cutting, a thread or two will remain where die blades meet. Snip threads with scissors.
- Use cutting plastic that matches size of each die.
- For best results, cut with die blades running under roller at an angle. Do not cut with blades parallel to roller.
- Blades on some dies are positioned at an angle. Align fabric to edge of shape, not edge of die board.
- Some dies feature specially designed corners to aid in alignment and pre-cutting.
- For fast applique, apply fusible web to fabrics, then cut shapes with dies.
- Use good quality fabric to reduce fabric stretch.
- It's always a good idea to test cut one shape before cutting many shapes to ensure fabric orientation is correct.
Care & Maintenance: Use adhesive roller to clean lint and thread from dies. After each use, with the die pick provided with the cutter, remove any threads embedded between blades and foam. It's normal for threads to get caught where blades meet in a die. Remove with tweezers or die pick. Die blades never need to be sharpened.

Overall Rating This is an excellent die shape for trick or treat bags, placemats, cards and quilts. Why not use fusible to put these characters on brown bags full of treats.

Overall Rating Seems like I'm always a bit behind, but with my new Cat and Bat die, I can't wait to finish a quilt top for the grand kids. Love the curvy cat tail and would never attempt anything this complex by hand. Love the 2-tone foam, too. It cuts perfectly.

Overall Rating This was the first die cutter I purchased. I love Halloween and this made it easy to appliqué some extra fun shapes to my quilt top. I was able to fuse the fabric before cutting and the pieces turned out perfect. The bat is my favorite and who doesn't love a black cat?

Overall Rating Can't wait to have one of these babies of my own! Halloween is my favorite holiday and I am so happy to see more designs for it. Jack-o-lanterns next? or spiders or witches or, or, or? Well...you get the idea!! Love the idea of the two tone foam too, sure beats using a sharpie to mark it.
