Storage: Organize GO! dies with AccuQuilt GO! Die Storage Rack (55115).
Care & Maintenance: Use adhesive roller to clean lint and thread from dies. After each use, with the die pick provided with the cutter, remove any threads imbedded between blades and foam. It's normal for threads to get caught where blades meet in a die. Remove with tweezers or die pick. Die blades never need to be sharpened.
Die Tips:
- With some fabrics, after cutting, a thread or two will remain where die blades meet. Snip threads with scissors.
- Use cutting mats that matches size of each die.
- For best results, cut with die blades running under roller at an angle. Do not cut with blades parallel to roller.
- Blades on some dies are positioned at an angle. Align fabric to edge of shape, not edge of die board.
- Some dies feature specially designed corners to aid in alignment and pre-cutting.
- For fast applique, apply fusible web to fabrics, then cut shapes with dies.
- Use good quality fabric to reduce fabric stretch.
- It's always a good idea to test cut one shape before cutting many shapes to ensure fabric orientation is correct.

Overall Rating This is one of my favorite dies..it sparks the imagination. I have used it to make a beautiful friendship braid and want to make chisel stars and chisel flowers. The book Chisel Chase is a great inspiration for this die.

Overall Rating I can't believe all of the designs I've been able to make with this die...I made a large (18 in) finished star block that is a beautiful tabletopper ( you can see it on my blog) and I've made placemats, too. I have the 3 in finished triangle die, and you can make long rectangles or parallelograms by combining them with the chisel. I keep finding new ways to use this versatile die! Love it!

Overall Rating I love how this die makes cutting an awkward shape easy! I can rotary cut this shape but I would have to use the lines on my ruler. With the chisel die I can have perfect chisels in seconds!

Overall Rating The Chisels die works great in combination with other dies. If you add a 3 1/2" triangle to the angled end of the chisel, you get a 3" by 6" finished section. This section will work with the GO! Rectangle (3 1/2" by 6 1/2") as well as the 6 1/2" square cut. The 3 1/2" squares will also work with this.
But this die also will work nicely as a solo player. The die does cut directionally, so if you put your fabric on it fanfolded., the pieces will fit together and form long sections. The only limit is your creativity.(Posted on 8/31/11)

Overall Rating I was intrigued by the possibilities of this die and also purchased the Chisel Chase book by Noble Needle Quilting. I made one of the projects in the book and it turned out beautifully. All of the seams fit together so well due to the accurate cutting of the die. Looking forward to using this die for other quilts.

Overall Rating This die shape has so many different ways it can be used. I have made several quilts with this die. I have a book called chisel and chase and all of the patterns use the chisel shape. It is very versatile and well worth the price.
