  • Quilt more, clip less—No more clipping all those dog-eared corners
  • Quick and easy applique—Apply fusible web to fabric prior to cutting

Storage: Organize GO! dies with AccuQuilt GO! Die Storage Rack (55115).

Care & Maintenance: Use adhesive roller to clean lint and thread from dies. After each use, with the die pick provided with the cutter, remove any threads imbedded between blades and foam. It's normal for threads to get caught where blades meet in a die. Remove with tweezers or die pick. Die blades never need to be sharpened.

Die Tips:

  • With some fabrics, after cutting, a thread or two will remain where die blades meet. Snip threads with scissors.
  • Use cutting mats that matches size of each die.
  • For best results, cut with die blades running under roller at an angle. Do not cut with blades parallel to roller.
  • Blades on some dies are positioned at an angle. Align fabric to edge of shape, not edge of die board.
  • Some dies feature specially designed corners to aid in alignment and pre-cutting.
  • For fast applique, apply fusible web to fabrics, then cut shapes with dies.
  • Use good quality fabric to reduce fabric stretch.
  • It's always a good idea to test cut one shape before cutting many shapes to ensure fabric orientation is correct.

Warranty: AccuQuilt GO! dies are guaranteed for one year.

    Dresden plates

this will make nice place mats.

Wish it was a little bigger

I did make several plates with the pointed one and they came out nice and flat I had no problem with that.. I don't care for the rounded, probably won't use it. I was surprised at the size of them I think if they were bigger it would be better.

    Dresdens and more

I love the Dresden wedge and all the design possibilities. We used this die in an unexpected way - for turkey feathers! Accuquilt has a free pattern that uses this die for turkey feathers and the snowman arms (from the holiday accessories cutting die) for the turkey legs. I makes adorable placemats!

    Number of blades

Under the details and directions tab above, it says that 20 blades are used. I don't know if this is a correction after the comments indicated that 22 does not give a flat circle or not. I'm glad I read the comments and looked further into this as I am beginning to,sew my blades together! AND as I looked again, there is an option for 22 blades!

    Great Die

I read some of the previous reviews about not getting a good flat circle with 22 of the pointed blades, which is what the die instructions specify. I made mine with 20 pointed blades and it came out perfectly. I wish I could share a picture with you. This die is wonderful and makes very short work of cutting out hundreds of Dresden blades, and center circles for a quilt. Buy it!

    Love this die!

I've never done a dresden plate before and was really excited to try it with a die. I did not turn under the rounded petal shape, machine applique with a zig zag. Love how it worked. I did a test shape of the pointed petal and found that very easy to work with as well. I am thrilled with this die!

    Not too sure

I'm still on the fence about this die. I have watched the video several times and I can't get 22 of the pointed ones to work. I did however get 20 to work with a little fudging. It's definitely faster cutting but 20 or 22? I cut $125 worth of fat quarter out of a French General collection and hope and pray it's all going to work out. I spoke with someone on Youtube who reviewed this die and she even told me she couldn't get it to lay properly either. I'm going to keep going on this quilt but honestly didn't expect to have to fudge blocks cut from a die. BTW This is not my first rodeo. I have made several Dresden Plate quilts in the past however they were cut with a template. I've been a quilter for 30 plus years. I do have other dies from Accuquilt and love them to pieces! I have both the Studio 2 and the Go Big!

The only way to cut Dresden Plate pieces.

I purchased this last year and spent a few months working on the quilt. I used both patterns in the quilt and would advise using fusible interfacing on the rounded pieces as mine sometimes frayed a little as I was machine appliqueing around the edges. The pointed pieces take a little more time to stitch, but don't need the interfacing. Without this die, I would still be cutting out pieces.

    Worth every penny

I made a dresden quilt in the past. Even though it was a wall hanging one, it took a few days to cut out all the pieces for the sunbursts. I was fortunate to be able to use the template my sister already created. After I completed that quilt, I thought, it is a nice pattern, but too much work. Now, with this die, the cutting is quick and easy with the bonus of the , as I call them, Line-up-tags. I will be making more desden items in future.
