Care & Maintenance: Cutter For best results, always keep your Studio 2 fabric cutter clean and lint free. To clean the fabric cutter inside and out, use a soft dry cloth. Avoid abrasives, solvents and spray cleaners. If necessary, wipe with a damp cloth, then polish with a dry cloth. Use canned air to clear lint from roller area. The steel roller never needs replacing and withstands years of die cutting use. Please note: Some assembly is required when first setting up your Studio 2 Fabric Cutter.

Care & Maintenance: Dies Use adhesive roller to clean lint and thread from dies. After each use, remove any threads imbedded between blades and foam. It's normal for threads to get caught where blades meet in a die. Remove with tweezers or die pick (55105). Die blades never need to be sharpened.

      Best purchase ever

Have used this so much, got the adapter and can use all of the go dies I already had.
Making a quilt now cut all the squares I needed in less than 15 mins. This was such a great buy. Going quilting crazy now that it is so much faster to cut every thing you need at the same time.

      Ready, Willing and Very Able

I received my Studio 2 Bread & Butter Starter Set. I am now initiating a Ready, Willing and Very Able attitude with my quilting. Now I can concentrate on my quilting and patterns rather than cutting material. With the Studio 2 it saves so much time. It is very easy to use. Biggest problem I have is my own - where do I store my dies. Thank you for the prompt delivery. It arrived on my birthday, I couldn't have planned it any better.

      Easy peasy

Set-up was almost effortless, instructions easy to understand, and now the fabric pieces for my next project are cut in no time at all!! Way easier to operate the studio 2 than I thought ...and my hand doesn't hurt.

      Good cutter but....

The studio cutter does exactly what it's supposed to do. But I'm very disappointed that several of the studio dies I ordered won't work without purchasing separate trays and plastics. Given the cost of the cutter I really the max size tray should come as standard equipment. At the very least you could make the option to purchase in a drop down menu. After making such a large investment it is frustrating to have to spend more money before I can fully utilize it.

      Studio 2

I finally ordered one, and I love it! I Wish I would have gotten it sooner. It works fabulously!

      Great!!!

When I stopped sewing about 15 years ago to be a single parent there was no such thing as a die cutter. When I started sewing again almost 3 years ago there were a lot of new tools available and this was one. About a year ago I decided to purchase the Studio 2 after much research. The Studio 2 is the best die cutter on the market. I don't know why it took me so long to purchase the Studio 2 cutter. It saves time cutting and more time is spent SEWING! At first I was just going to get the most used studio strip dies (2 1/2 and 1 1/2 strips) and use it for the GO! applique dies with the adapter. Well almost a year later I have just about all the studio strip dies.

      My Favorite Cutter

When the Studio 2 cutter went on sale, I just had to have it even though I started out with the Go Big cutter, a 9" cube, and its companion set. It worked great but the Studio 2 works better for me. Since I already had so many dies, I liked that the Studio 2 has the die adapter so i ordered it. Now i can keep using all the dies i already had as well as any new Studio 2 dies that I'd buy going forward. There is no waste of my previous investment in my dies this way,.and I am very pleased with how well my Go dies work in the Studio 2 cutter with the adapter! It is very easy to use especially when i use my Go rag dies. i find they just roll on through and keep on cutting even if they have some stray threads building up. i don't have to pick them out as often using the Studio 2 cutter. Just remember to use the cutting mat that matches the cutter you are using and not the die, I recommend getting the assorted Studio 2 cutting mats along with the adapter.

      Love my Studio 2

I have had my Studio 2 for about 2 weeks now and love it. I'm glad I made the right decision to buy this. The turning of the handle is so easy and the cutting of fabric is excellent.

      Awesome

Recently broke my wrist. This is a lifesaver!

    • Betty · 3/4/2017

      Thrilled

Received the Studio 2 cutter a couple of days ago and used it today to cut with the Blazing Star studio die and WOW. The die went through with ease and cut 8 layer, enough for two blocks in no time at all. This is the first time of doing a block like this and they went together with perfect points. I am thrilled with this cutter and can't wait to cut my next quilt.
