Care & Maintenance: Cutter For best results, always keep your Studio 2 fabric cutter clean and lint free. To clean the fabric cutter inside and out, use a soft dry cloth. Avoid abrasives, solvents and spray cleaners. If necessary, wipe with a damp cloth, then polish with a dry cloth. Use canned air to clear lint from roller area. The steel roller never needs replacing and withstands years of die cutting use. Please note: Some assembly is required when first setting up your Studio 2 Fabric Cutter.

Care & Maintenance: Dies Use adhesive roller to clean lint and thread from dies. After each use, remove any threads imbedded between blades and foam. It's normal for threads to get caught where blades meet in a die. Remove with tweezers or die pick (55105). Die blades never need to be sharpened.

      A Dream Come True!

This is one of the best things to come along for quilters, especially if you are cutting out many repeat pieces. I love my Studio 2 cutter and it has made it so much easier for me to make quilts, especially since I have arthritis in my hands. I definitely urge any quilter to order one, it makes quilting so much more enjoyable!

      What a treat

I decided to treat myself and I have no regrets! This is like cheating! Makes perfect cuts with such amazing ease - quilting shouldn't be this easy! I'd buy it again! I'd say it stores nicely but mine is always out!

      Really Great Quality!

I wasn't sure if I should get the smaller Go cutter or the Studio, but I'm really happy I went with the Studio. It's really heavy (which implies to me that they didn't cheap out with materials) and I love how the sides fold up so the space around it is usable when l'm not cutting fabric or I can put it on a shelf.

Accuquilt doesn't stand behind their product!

The foam on my studio die turned hard and crumbled. I have many dies and it only happen to one. They told me it was an older one and would not warrant it. So, when you pay top dollar, don't expect them to stand behind the product. They said it shouldn't affect the cutting. It puts black all over the fabric and soon the blades will be exposed. That wasn't what I paid for. Very disappointed!!

      New to quilting

Ok... i am currently making my very first quit. I starting by cutting my fabric with a rotary cutter. Then I saw a video by Ebony Love and she reviewed cutting machines. I knew this was the way to go for me. Being a newbie, I had enough on my hands just putting the pieces together in the right order. Making sure I had the cutting part right was not comfortable. So, I bought the Studio 2 and have not regretted one minute. Now I can focus on my sewing and know my cuts are correct and accurate.

      Great

I've owned my studio for about a month. I can tell I'm going to love it

    • Cyndi · 10/15/2016

      Love it!

I love making quilts! Cutting out the pieces - not so much. Standing for long periods of time leaning over a counter is torture on my back and feet not to mention the wear on my wrist using the rotary cutter. I was struggling with inaccurate cuts as well.
I'd been eyeing Accuquilt for a while and when the studio cutter 2 went on sale a few weeks ago I bit the bullet and ordered t! I am in love with it! I can cut out a whole quilt in no time! My pieces are perfectly cut and sewing them together is a breeze! I highly recommend this cutter! You will not regret it!

      Fantastic!

Purchased for our Days for Girls Team here in Tulsa. I cannot say enough about how easy to use and how perfect every shield comes out. I have cut 16 layers of cotton at a time with great results. For the PUL I have cut 10 layers. I admit fewer PUL layers is simpler to set up as it is so slick but the Cutter works beautifully every time.

      Studio is the best

I use this every time I need 2.5 " strips, 5" squares and 10" squares. I love my studio!!!
