Care & Maintenance: Cutter For best results, always keep your Studio 2 fabric cutter clean and lint free. To clean the fabric cutter inside and out, use a soft dry cloth. Avoid abrasives, solvents and spray cleaners. If necessary, wipe with a damp cloth, then polish with a dry cloth. Use canned air to clear lint from roller area. The steel roller never needs replacing and withstands years of die cutting use. Please note: Some assembly is required when first setting up your Studio 2 Fabric Cutter.

Care & Maintenance: Dies Use adhesive roller to clean lint and thread from dies. After each use, remove any threads imbedded between blades and foam. It's normal for threads to get caught where blades meet in a die. Remove with tweezers or die pick (55105). Die blades never need to be sharpened.

      Studio

Best investment i have! I don't have to see a die and say on can't use a die because it doesn't fit. Accuquilt has made it great with the use of adapters. Sizzix has some dies that will work for quilting and with the adapter can give you an incredible Library. I did a lot of research and found the Studio to be the best fit for me! Love that it can cut up to ten layers!

      Great Fabric Cutter

I started out with the GO cutter and then went to the Studio. Love the big studio dies. Recently purchased the conversion kit to make my Studio a Studio 2. Don't regret my choice at all. It is so nice to cut larger amounts of fabric at one time. It makes cutting my own 2 1/2 inch strips and 10 inch squares a breeze.

      Love it

use this machine for card stock and fabric, tulle, lace too. My only quirk is that if you are doing invitations you can't line them up easily due to dies being positioned for bias cutting (which is great for fabric). So I use another brand of die in my studio for that. The cuts are clean and edges sharp. Not difficult to turn handle on (although electric would be great). Need to get the converters (to fold and for go dies). you will not regret purchasing this machine.

      So thankful for this cutter

When I first started using a die cutter, I bought the Go! Baby. I soon discovered that I really wanted to be able to use larger dies and contemplated the regular size Go! cutter. After much deliberation (and a good sale!) I decided to get the Studio 2 cutter and the adapters to use with my Go! dies. This way, I can continue to use all my Go! dies, all the Studio dies that are not available to Go! users, and have the option to use any other brand die on the market with adapters or shims. It's opened a whole new range of possibilities! It also rolls so much easier than my Go! Baby. It's made my sewing room a lot more fun and productive! I like that it folds up for space, but it is quite heavy, so make sure you have a space to use it where you don't need to move it so often (unless you are pretty good at lifting weights!)

      A must have tool

I am new to quilting and found I was having issues with cutting straightly. Not now! The Studio has changed that. And it is so easy to use, no more pain in my hands. It use to take me forever to cut what i needed, but now I get to spend my time sewing. I just love it.

      I love, love, love it

So for an individual, this cutter is a little bit of "overkill", but that's my husbands middle name and it was a gift from him. I am new to quilting, and cutting fabric on my own was a nightmare. This machine is a awesome!

So glad I invested in this style of Accuquilt cutter!

It is so wonderful to use any die cutter I want to. No limitations! The new adapters are wonderful! So easy to use!

    • Karen · 2/14/2016

      Great cutter

The studio cutter is easy to use and saves so much time. Every cut is the perfect size of the die, no more wasted fabric.

Thrilled to receive my new Studio 2 Cutter. Am not a perfect rotary cutter so am looking forward to some precise cutting of my strips, triangles etc.
