Care & Maintenance: Cutter For best results, always keep your Studio 2 fabric cutter clean and lint free. To clean the fabric cutter inside and out, use a soft dry cloth. Avoid abrasives, solvents and spray cleaners. If necessary, wipe with a damp cloth, then polish with a dry cloth. Use canned air to clear lint from roller area. The steel roller never needs replacing and withstands years of die cutting use. Please note: Some assembly is required when first setting up your Studio 2 Fabric Cutter.

Care & Maintenance: Dies Use adhesive roller to clean lint and thread from dies. After each use, remove any threads imbedded between blades and foam. It's normal for threads to get caught where blades meet in a die. Remove with tweezers or die pick (55105). Die blades never need to be sharpened.

      Love it!

Can't believe there is an invention that makes cutting for quilts so easy & fun!! Wish I had discovered this a couple of years ago!

      Studio2

Loving my Studio I just purchased. It cuts down on the time it takes to cut out a quilt. I was able to cut peices for a quilt in an hour that would have taken 3-4 hours with a rotaru cutter.

      Love it BUT....

I absolutely love this cutter. The only thing that has bothered me has been the lack of availability of the dies. I've only been able to find them online. They didn't even have them at the quilt show in Houston. When I inquired about the studio dies at the quilt show the sales people made me feel like I had made a mistake in purchasing the big cutter. I thought my options would be better to have the bigger cutter but it doesn't necessarily feel that way. Don't get me wrong, I love the cutter. It has been wonderful. I just wish I could find the dies in the stores or quilt shows.

      Amazing!

I just got my Studio 2 and I love it. It makes cutting all the fabric a snap! I wish I had purchased this years ago. I'm thrilled that I can cut many layers at once. Very easy to turn the crank. I have used it to cut my wool applique pieces also.

      Xmas Present for myseft

Great Machine, Well Built, Love the Studio dies, Can now make a lot more in a very small amount of time.

    • Erinn · 1/2/2017

Love my fabric cutter. No limitations.

I love my fabric cutter. I am currently making a ton of double wedding ring quilts and i would be doing serious damage to my hands if I had to cut all of the pieces. I wish the cutter came with the Go die converter. I would be more likely to buy a lot more. I love that there aren't any limitations to this cutter. The smaller die cutters would frustrate me that I could only do small cuts.

      Great fun!

What a great way to cut a ton of squares in one go! I'm looking forward to collecting more dies.

      Easy to move

I got so excited when i saw this new studio cutter. I had been wanting one, but didn't have a place to keep it. Since this one folds up it is so handy to use and then store on the floor by my table. Love it! And cutting time is so much less and super accurate.

      Love it!

So easy to cut 10 layers of material and cuts are perfect which save time and uneven cutting frustration. Thank you Accuquilt!
