Die Specifications:

  • Use die with Studio Fabric Cutter (50800) only
  • Required: Large Cutting Plastic (60000)
  • Cuts one 3 11/16"W x 5"H (9 cm x 13 cm) gingerbread man shape

Storage: Store Studio dies in AccuQuilt die storage cases or storage racks.

Die Tips:

  • With some fabrics, after cutting, a thread or two will remain where die blades meet. Snip threads with scissors.
  • Use cutting plastic that matches size of each die.
  • For best results, cut with die blades running under roller at an angle. Do not cut with blades parallel to roller.
  • Blades on some dies are positioned at an angle. Align fabric to edge of shape, not edge of die board.
  • Some dies feature specially designed corners to aid in alignment and pre-cutting.
  • For fast applique, apply fusible web to fabrics, then cut shapes with dies.
  • Use good quality fabric to reduce fabric stretch.
  • It's always a good idea to test cut one shape before cutting many shapes to ensure fabric orientation is correct.

Care & Maintenance: Use adhesive roller to clean lint and thread from dies. After each use, with the die pick provided with the cutter, remove any threads imbedded between blades and foam. It's normal for threads to get caught where blades meet in a die. Remove with tweezers or die pick. Die blades never need to be sharpened.

Warranty: AccuQuilt Studio dies are guaranteed for one year.

Perfect gingerbread men for cute holiday table runner

This cuts perfect gingerbread men for a cute holiday table runner I have in mind. The sewing hasn't began but my grandson had to see me cut some gingerbread men. We were both impressed!

    gingerbread man

This smaller version of the gingerbread man is the perfect size for ornaments. I cut them out of felt, stitched 2 together and stuffed, then decorated. Very cute!!

I wanted this since I make my own greeting cards for the holidays. I just finished 54 cards (cut from fabric) and stitched to cardstock. They are so-o-o cute. I use a blanket stitch around the outside and a scallop stitch to simulate icing. I tack stitch eyes / buttons/ details to finish the little guys!

    Great For Kids!

This die is so much fun to use! My grandsons love to help cut out this shape (they turn the crank.) We've decorated them with ric rac, buttons, puff paint, and anything else we come up with, then attach them to decorated canvas and inserts for picture frames. Kid tested and approved!

This die is the reason I bought a cutter

This die is the reason I purchased the cutter. Too bad I bought the wrong cutter! So sad. Wanted to play with my new gingy friends

LOVE LOVED adding this one to my crafting tools/patterns!

I use this jumbo die to make large rustic gingerbread men. I cut 2 pieces, and hand stitch using large stitches around the edges leaving a small area open to stuff, then finish stitching. They turn out so cute in cotton calicos, solids and even burlap! They can be decorated with all kinds of things, buttons, beads, ric-rac, a piece of fabric cut out for a dress to make a gingerbread girl, the possibilities are endless with this die! LOVE LOVED adding this one to my crafting tools/patterns!

    Christmas tags

I love this die. He is perfect for all kinds of things. I will be using my snowman accessory die to embellish him. I also plan to use him for Christmas gift tags.
