Storage: Store Studio dies in AccuQuilt die storage cases or storage racks.
Care & Maintenance: Use adhesive roller to clean lint and thread from dies. After each use, with the die pick provided with the cutter, remove any threads imbedded between blades and foam. It's normal for threads to get caught where blades meet in a die. Remove with tweezers or die pick. Die blades never need to be sharpened.
Die Tips:
- With some fabrics, after cutting, a thread or two will remain where die blades meet. Snip threads with scissors.
- Use cutting plastic that matches size of each die.
- For best results, cut with die blades running under roller at an angle. Do not cut with blades parallel to roller.
- Blades on some dies are positioned at an angle. Align fabric to edge of shape, not edge of die board.
- Some dies feature specially designed corners to aid in alignment and pre-cutting.
- For fast applique, apply fusible web to fabrics, then cut shapes with dies.
- Use good quality fabric to reduce fabric stretch.
- It's always a good idea to test cut one shape before cutting many shapes to ensure fabric orientation is correct

Overall Rating I was able to cut all the materials for a 40" X 60 " quilt in about a half hour. This was my first quilt and I was very impressed how the pieces went together so easily and matched up exactly so you could sew them easily. I was very pleased with the set and all the options it gives me for different quilt blocks. I think this set is great!

Overall Rating I've been one of those quilters with a die cutter but I would still cut my own HSTs and squares. I would purchase the "hard to cut" dies like Rob Peter to Pay Paul, drunkard's path, wedding ring, etc. However, I decided when I upgraded to the Studio cutter to purchase the 12" block set. I LOVE it! I started last Friday cutting the pieces for the Angle Play BOM and had all 11 blocks that were distributed at the time pieced by Sunday. I could have had them done sooner if I wasn't out shopping all day Saturday. I am missing a few of the dies to cut the quilt and will purchase them when they go on sale. The only reason I'm rating a 4 out of 5 is because only one object can be cut from the die x 10 fabrics as compared to having multiple units on the die.

- Sawtooth Star FIRST QUILT! Review by Snobahr

Overall Rating I'm making a sawtooth star quilt today for a trade show this weekend. It took me about an hour to cut out the triangles and squares needed for a 36x36 quilt top. I'm a total beginner at this, and because the shapes are PERFECT, it takes one of the biggest worries out of quilt making - "How badly did I cut that?!" I'm not afraid of ruining fabric with bad cuts. I know that if I take a few moments to align it on the die, it will cut exactly the shape, however many times I run it through.

Overall Rating I have the 12" Finished Block Set, 10" Finished Block Set and 8" Finished Block Set. These are all a must have, I have saved so much time cutting my quilts. I also enjoy being able to change the look of a quilt by the mix and match ability of these die sets. I also like that in these sets each shape is on a deferent die so you can cut only the shape you need. If you have a quilt that need only some of the shapes it is easy to cut only the shape you need. Other die sets have all of the shapes on one die.
