It kills my back and hand to rotary cut for long periods and I can barely cut the fray part due to arthritis. This saves me so much time and it gets the cuts perfect, unlike me. It has made it possible for me to open my rag quilting business.

I was very skeptical about this set - why would anyone need a batting die I thought. I was wrong. You can easily turn those extra bits of batting into rag quilt battings in just a few minutes! I had bags and bags of left-over pieces of batting that were too big to throw away and too small to want to put together. They easily became organized and stacked using this die. Also, cutting your batting with a die eliminates all the bits of batting stuck in your rotary cutting mat!

The rag die is wonderful and the cuts are so accurate and make for a wonderful rag quilt.

I used to make my rag quilts with the Go! rag dies. I just placed the order last week but it was out of stock. I hope I will have the die set soon. I can't wait to use these dies.

This is my first quilt made with an Accuquilt die and I am pretty sure I won't ever hand cut another quilt ever again! The pieces cut so easily, I used a lint roller to keep the lint/strings out of the die. The 6inch square was perfect for cutting the batting, Easy, Easy, Easy!!

This die set is perfect. I have the 6 1/2 die already so I bought mine seperate. I love this size for a rag quilt. I made a theme quilt and this was the perfect size to show off the pictures. I also just bought the 12 1/2 inch rag die..I can't wait to see how it works out making a king size quilt for my bed. Its too hard to FMQ a King size doing a regular quilt so hoping this will be a great solution, since i do not want to spend more moeny to have someone else do it.

This die makes cutting a rag quilt so fast and easy. I have been using 3 layers of flannel ... I just put a single layer of white flannel between my two layers of a fashion color, right side out, and cut all at once. This makes a great weight quilt and the pieces can go immediately from the cutter to the machine and I do not have to mess with trying to place a batting piece in between. I will just use the 6 1/2 inch square for something else!
I recommend buying several mats with the purchase of the die because you will want to keep making these quilts once you start.

I did not get this set, I purchased them at different times after I reviewed the online video on completing a rag quilt, it was so simple, I loved doing this rag quilt. I am a beginner and this was the easiest thing I have ever done (a baby rag quilt) it came out beautiful. I never thought I would be interested in doing piece quilting because it seemed like so much work cutting all the pieces Accuquilt you sold me, what a product!!!

What to do with all of those scraps left over from T-shirt quilts? Use the backs and other bits to make a snuggly rag quilt that costs you nothing for supplies other than thread.

I love this die! You can easily make a quilt a .day using this die...I know because I have done so. Trust me, you don't need to be an expert to easily complete your project. It's fast, it's simple, and the quilts turn out beautiful each and every time. I highly recommend this die for everyone of every level - you'll be glad you did!
