Die Specifications:
- Compatible with: Studio Fabric Cutter (50800)
- Required: Super Giant Cutting Plastic (PK270) and Super Giant Die Tray (406120)
- Cuts three strips at a time, each strip 24" (61 cm) long
Storage: Store Studio dies in AccuQuilt die storage cases or storage racks.
Die Tips:
- With some fabrics, after cutting, a thread or two will remain where die blades meet. Snip threads with scissors.
- Use cutting plastic that matches size of each die.
- For best results, cut with die blades running under roller at an angle. Do not cut with blades parallel to roller.
- Blades on some dies are positioned at an angle. Align fabric to edge of shape, not edge of die board.
- Some dies feature specially designed corners to aid in alignment and pre-cutting.
- For fast applique, apply fusible web to fabrics, then cut shapes with dies.
- Use good quality fabric to reduce fabric stretch.
- It's always a good idea to test cut one shape before cutting many shapes to ensure fabric orientation is correct.
Care & Maintenance: Use adhesive roller to clean lint and thread from dies. After each use, with the die pick provided with the cutter, remove any threads imbedded between blades and foam. It's normal for threads to get caught where blades meet in a die. Remove with tweezers or die pick. Die blades never need to be sharpened.
Warranty: AccuQuilt Studio dies are guaranteed for one year.

Overall Rating I have almost all of the strip dies. I use them all, all the time. You can make strips, squares, diamonds. Great for borders. I highly recommend the strip dies. I use them more then any others.

Overall Rating I probably use this most of any of my strip dies. It's a perfect size for me, and works for squares and diamonds as well as strips. The only problem I have with it is that it came with a ding in one blade. I'm confident AccuQuilt would have replaced it if I'd sent it back, but that's SUCH a lot of trouble, I just marked it when I drew silver lines along the blades, and I try to avoid putting fabric there if I can. Otherwise it's a fantastic die that I use for most of my scrap quilts. Plays well with the 6-1/2" strip die, too. :)

Overall Rating I love this die and can't imagine what I would do without it. I cut strips, squares and diamonds with it. It's a great pair to my chisel set. And the best part, I square my half square triangles with it too! Great value being able to do all of that with one die and a few carefully drawn silver sharpie lines!

Overall Rating If you love making fast, accurate cuts and need a lot of them quickly, you really need this strip cutter. We love making Mary's Quick Strippie quilt and it needs 3 1/2 inch strips and lots of them. We use this strip cutter all the time and get perfect cuts each and every time we use this die. Fast, accurate cuts. Thanks!
