Storage: Store Studio dies in AccuQuilt die storage cases or storage racks.
Care & Maintenance: Use adhesive roller to clean lint and thread from dies. After each use, with the die pick provided with the cutter, remove any threads imbedded between blades and foam. It's normal for threads to get caught where blades meet in a die. Remove with tweezers or die pick. Die blades never need to be sharpened.
Die Tips:
- With some fabrics, after cutting, a thread or two will remain where die blades meet. Snip threads with scissors.
- Use cutting plastic that matches size of each die.
- For best results, cut with die blades running under roller at an angle. Do not cut with blades parallel to roller.
- Blades on some dies are positioned at an angle. Align fabric to edge of shape, not edge of die board.
- Some dies feature specially designed corners to aid in alignment and pre-cutting.
- For fast applique, apply fusible web to fabrics, then cut shapes with dies.
- Use good quality fabric to reduce fabric stretch.
- It's always a good idea to test cut one shape before cutting many shapes to ensure fabric orientation is correct

Overall Rating With my first order I purchased the 12in set (it had the most reviews!) and immediately knew I wanted this set too once I started cutting! Between the 2 sets I am well content on the sizes and shapes I am able to cut. Very little is given up in the area of possible ideas and creation. Borders, centerpieces, main designs...they are all right here and ready to go.

Overall Rating The 10" block set allows you to make so many differnt blocks. You can build a sampler with this one set or multiple quilts with the same block, also you can use just two different blocks...one simple and one intricate for a sensational look. The pieces go together perfectly...the blocks lay nice and flat...the quilt is as close to perfect as one can get. You can bulid beautiful quilts with just a little imagination, you can use different dies in the same quilt...the possibilities are endless. Accuquilt is right on the mark when they say "Better cuts make better quilts!" Thank you Accuquilt for such a great product.

Overall Rating I have the 12" Finished Block Set, 10" Finished Block Set and 8" Finished Block Set. These are all a must have, I have saved so much time cutting my quilts. I also enjoy being able to change the look of a quilt by the mix and match ability of these die sets. I also like that in these sets each shape is on a deferent die so you can cut only the shape you need. If you have a quilt that need only some of the shapes it is easy to cut only the shape you need. Other die sets have all of the shapes on one die.

Overall Rating The basic block sets are a must have. They have saved me many hours not just in cutting but in sewing also, because I can cut up to ten layers of material and they sew together so much better because there are none of my cutting errors.

Overall Rating Wow for a novice quilter this came in handy and love the ease of use. I can mix and match the dies, use the dies in other designs make any design that I can think of and be happy, happy. I have both the 10 inch and 12 inch block die set and have had tons of fun with designs just popping out of my head. Buy any of the die sets in this series and be a happy quilter.
