Die Specifications:
- Compatible with: Studio Fabric Cutter (50800)
- Required: Super Giant Cutting Plastic (PK270) and Super Giant Die Tray (406120)
- Cuts eight strips at a time, each strip 24" (61 cm) long
Storage: Store Studio dies in AccuQuilt die storage cases or storage racks.
Die Tips:
- With some fabrics, after cutting, a thread or two will remain where die blades meet. Snip threads with scissors.
- Use cutting plastic that matches size of each die.
- For best results, cut with die blades running under roller at an angle. Do not cut with blades parallel to roller.
- Blades on some dies are positioned at an angle. Align fabric to edge of shape, not edge of die board.
- Some dies feature specially designed corners to aid in alignment and pre-cutting.
- For fast applique, apply fusible web to fabrics, then cut shapes with dies.
- Use good quality fabric to reduce fabric stretch.
- It's always a good idea to test cut one shape before cutting many shapes to ensure fabric orientation is correct.
Care & Maintenance: Use adhesive roller to clean lint and thread from dies. After each use, with the die pick provided with the cutter, remove any threads imbedded between blades and foam. It's normal for threads to get caught where blades meet in a die. Remove with tweezers or die pick. Die blades never need to be sharpened.
Warranty: AccuQuilt Studio dies are guaranteed for one year.

Overall Rating WOW, what can I say about this cutter it looks so neat I have not yet received my Studio cutter but I can not wait to try it it will make jelly rolls so easy to make I can not wait to use this die. I have the Go and the 1 1.5 strip cutter for the go and use it but I know I will get so much more cuts done with the Studio

Overall Rating I love to make Log Cabin Quilts and this die is a "must have" for cutting the strips. Strips are cut so accurately with this die and blocks are so even and straight when sewn. Love it.

Overall Rating Before getting this die I was stripped challenged. My strips would be sloppy and uneven. Talk about time saving! Now my quilt buddies let me cut their 1.5 strips because I luv cutting them.

Overall Rating This strip cutter is amazing, but so are all the strip cutters and other dies I have purchased for my Studio! I could never cut strips so accurately before. It is so easy to also cross cut your strips for squares and still get amazing accurate results, quick and simple!

Overall Rating This is a great die! It cuts those narrower strips with such accuracy and ease you'll wonder how you lived without it. My ruler always slipped when cutting those narrow strips. No worries when using the Studio die. Worth every penny.

Overall Rating I enjoy adding these strips to my quilt now! They are straight, quick to cut and where else can you cut 10 layers of fabric this size and have them accurate? I'm glad I purchased this die; I will use it a lot. Well worth purchasing.

Overall Rating I just used this for several rows of spacers on a quilt. It gives me consistent spacers and fewer wobbly lines. As with all of the strip cutters, well worth the investment - and a great time-saver too.
