Lay die flat inside tray with FOAM
SIDE UP. Place fabric on top of
die. If desired, fan fold fabric to
cut multiple layers. Check
orientation of fabric for cutting
non-symmetrical shapes. Place
cutting plastic on top of fabric.

Push die, tray and plastic until
they contact roller. Turn handle
in the direction you want die to
go. If needed, continue pushing
until roller grabs die. Roll die
and tray through cutter.

Remove cutting plastic and
fabric. Occasionally, threads
may need to be snipped
where cutting blades meet
on the die.
Repeat process
from opposite direction.

Storage: Store Studio dies in AccuQuilt die storage cases or storage racks.

Die Tips:

  • With some fabrics, after cutting, a thread or two will remain where die blades meet. Snip threads with scissors.
  • Use cutting plastic that matches size of each die.
  • For best results, cut with die blades running under roller at an angle. Do not cut with blades parallel to roller.
  • Blades on some dies are positioned at an angle. Align fabric to edge of shape, not edge of die board.
  • Some dies feature specially designed corners to aid in alignment and pre-cutting.
  • For fast applique, apply fusible web to fabrics, then cut shapes with dies.
  • Use good quality fabric to reduce fabric stretch.
  • It's always a good idea to test cut one shape before cutting many shapes to ensure fabric orientation is correct.

Care & Maintenance: Cutter For best results, always keep your Studio cutter clean and lint free. To clean the cutter inside and out, use a soft dry cloth. Avoid abrasives, solvents and spray cleaners. If necessary, wipe with a damp cloth, then polish with a dry cloth. Use canned air to clear lint from roller area. The steel roller never needs replacing and withstands years of die cutting use. Please note: Some assembly is required when first setting up your Studio Fabric Cutter.

Care & Maintenance: Dies Use adhesive roller to clean lint and thread from dies. After each use, with the die pick provided with the cutter, remove any threads imbedded between blades and foam. It's normal for threads to get caught where blades meet in a die. Remove with tweezers or die pick. Die blades never need to be sharpened.

Warranty: AccuQuilt Studio Fabric Cutters have a three year guarantee. If you experience any defects in material or workmanship, simply notify AccuQuilt and we will repair or replace the cutter at no charge. All cutter die trays and cutting plastic are consumable parts and are not covered by the warranty. Replace trays annually depending on use. All Studio dies are guaranteed for one year.

Awesome! Review by Jenny

I upgraded from a Go! this year to the Studio and boy what a dream! This is so smooth and cuts fabric like a dream. I am so excited to be able to cut more layers of fabric and bigger blocks like the 10" and 12 1/2" blocks. I love it!

I LOVE THIS! Review by Snobahr
Overall Rating

We ordered this set for our business, for doing custom embroidery, and I've cut a few layers of fabric with each of the dies. It's wonderful! Everyone at the workshop has some manner of physical limitation (mostly age-driven decrepitude), and being able to plow through layers of fabric in order to build up the blank stock of fabric shapes for patches/embroidery has been a delight. More time can be put towards getting the patches embroidered than towards cutting fabric. Enough time that we'll be able to make some actual quilts, too!

I bought my starter set several years ago,and I still love it! My only regret is that I bought it before they had the points trimmed on the block dies. I still love it!!!!
