Die Specifications:
- Compatible with: Studio Fabric Cutter (50800)
- Required: Super Long Cut Cutting Plastic (PK240) and Super Giant Die Tray (406120)
- Cuts three strips at a time, each strip 24" (61 cm) long
Storage: Store Studio dies in AccuQuilt die storage cases or storage racks.
Die Tips:
- With some fabrics, after cutting, a thread or two will remain where die blades meet. Snip threads with scissors.
- Use cutting plastic that matches size of each die.
- For best results, cut with die blades running under roller at an angle. Do not cut with blades parallel to roller.
- Blades on some dies are positioned at an angle. Align fabric to edge of shape, not edge of die board.
- Some dies feature specially designed corners to aid in alignment and pre-cutting.
- For fast applique, apply fusible web to fabrics, then cut shapes with dies.
- Use good quality fabric to reduce fabric stretch.
- It's always a good idea to test cut one shape before cutting many shapes to ensure fabric orientation is correct.
Care & Maintenance: Use adhesive roller to clean lint and thread from dies. After each use, with the die pick provided with the cutter, remove any threads imbedded between blades and foam. It's normal for threads to get caught where blades meet in a die. Remove with tweezers or die pick. Die blades never need to be sharpened.
Warranty: AccuQuilt Studio dies are guaranteed for one year.

Overall Rating I use this die more than any other. Sashing, borders, bindings and cut quite a bit for my friends. My neighbor is moving back to Florida and I will cut some strips for her.

Overall Rating This is a super aide in making 4-patches for both gift and charity quilts. I fold two coordinating fabrics together, press nicely, and cut in strips. The key is that these are cut together and because they are ironed together too, I can easily go directly to machine and sew the entire length without much pinning. Then I cut that length in half and by turning horizontal, I make another cut and before you know it, you have many 2-patches which only need to be nested at the seams and chain sewn. My 4-patches can be used as block centers, set on point, or arranged for bordering. Like I say, this is an excellent aide in quick and accurate cutting. You gotta try it! Hint: I find if I iron even folded fabrics for cutting any die, it is easier. Thank you AccuQuilt.

Overall Rating This is a great strip cutter-I was able to cut all my friends binding strips for quilts with ease. Just folded the fabric and got 12 strips for each person in no time.

Overall Rating Our group has used this strip cutter at least a zillion times for perfect binding strips every time. You can cut 100 binding strips in under 10 minutes. Great for using up scraps for making a cute scrap quilt and for so many of the jelly roll quilt patterns out there this die can't be beat. You will be sharing your fabric with your friends and making room for new fabric in no time! You really need this die to add to your collection. A must have!
