AccuQuilt Copyright Policy Summary

The AccuQuilt physical die boards that contain AccuQuilt proprietary and licensed die shapes cannot be reproduced, whether in original form or with modifications, for resale, relicensing or any other commercial purpose.

AccuQuilt allows and encourages the use of the output (i.e., the cut shapes) for all purposes, commercial, private and charity.

AccuQuilt allows and encourages the digital use of the shapes for all private and charity purposes.

If wanting to reproduce AccuQuilt proprietary or licensed die shapes for commercial purposes (e.g., to reprint for publication/resale in a pattern or book, or digitize for publication/resale to include on a CD/DVD), you must contact AccuQuilt to seek permission (for both proprietary and licensed shapes). In most cases, AccuQuilt grants permission to use the shapes if the steps to include the Copyright and Logo Guidelines are followed. Permission to use the die shapes that are licensed by AccuQuilt from third parties are granted on a case by case basis.

 

AccuQuilt Copyright Policy Legal Notice

You may use the output (i.e., the cut shapes) resulting from the use of the die shapes AccuQuilt licenses from third parties, as well as the output resulting from the use of AccuQuilt proprietary die shapes, for any commercial or private purpose. You may also reproduce the AccuQuilt proprietary or licensed die shapes (whether in original form or with your own modifications), as patterns or in digital format for embroidery projects, for any private, non-commercial purpose. However, before reproducing the licensed die shapes or the AccuQuilt proprietary die shapes (whether in original form or with your own modifications), for any other purpose, you must contact AccuQuilt to seek permission. Royalties to licensees may be required. AccuQuilt and its licensors reserve the right to refuse to consent to such reproduction in our sole discretion. The permission to reproduce the licensed die shapes does not grant rights, express or implied, to use any licensor's trademarks, trade names or corporate names.
