The GO! Double Wedding Ring die set has all the shapes you need to piece this classic quilt design. Typically labor intensive and difficult to cut, the Double Wedding Ring can be cut in just seconds with this die.
Die Specifications:
- Compatible with: GO! Fabric Cutter (55100) only
- Required: GO! Cutting Mat-10" x 10"
- Cuts one each:
- Center shape 9 1/4" x 9 1/4" (23 cm x 23 cm)
- Corner shape 2 7/16"W x 2 7/16"H (6 cm x 6 cm)
- Football shape 2 1/16"W x 6 1/2"H (5 cm x 17 cm)
- Middle arc shape 2 7/16"W x 2 1/2"H (6 cm x 6 cm)
- Arc shape 2 7/16"W x 2 7/16"H (6 cm x 6 cm)
- Total arc shape 2 1/2"W x 9 1/8"H (6 cm x 23 cm
- Die features matching notches on curved edges for easy pinning and fast sewing
- Creates an 11 1/2" finished square

Storage: 10" x 10" die board (25 cm x 25 cm). Organize GO! dies with AccuQuilt GO! Die Storage Rack (55115).
Die Tips:
- With some fabrics, after cutting, a thread or two will remain where die blades meet. Snip threads with scissors.
- Use cutting mats that matches size of each die.
- For best results, cut with die blades running under roller at an angle. Do not cut with blades parallel to roller.
- Blades on some dies are positioned at an angle. Align fabric to edge of shape, not edge of die board.
- Some dies feature specially designed corners to aid in alignment and pre-cutting.
- For fast applique, apply fusible web to fabrics, then cut shapes with dies.
- Use good quality fabric to reduce fabric stretch.
- It's always a good idea to test cut one shape before cutting many shapes to ensure fabric orientation is correct.
Care & Maintenance: Use adhesive roller to clean lint and thread from dies. After each use, with the die pick provided with the cutter, remove any threads imbedded between blades and foam. It's normal for threads to get caught where blades meet in a die. Remove with tweezers or die pick. Die blades never need to be sharpened.
Warranty: AccuQuilt GO! dies are guaranteed for one year.

Overall Rating I never made a double wedding ring quilt, and it is on my bucket list! These dies made the process painless. I look at my. Completed rows and am so proud to have made something reminiscent of my Grandmother. She would be proud and amazing at how far quilting has come.

Overall Rating The double wedding ring quilt is so hard to get right if it is cut out by hand. The Accuquilt dies make it so much easier. It is now almost fun to do. I am seriously thinking about doing a class for this quilt at the shop.

Overall Rating I am thinking about making the double wedding ring quilt for my sister-in-law for her wedding gift. I believe I will have enough time to finish it before next summer since the die make the complicated cutting process become so easy. Hopefully my young kids will allow me to work on this quilt after I get the die.

Overall Rating I hand cut a King Size DWR a couple of years ago. Oh My Gosh I wish I had this die then. I spent weeks cutting fabric with my rotary cutter and templates. I can cut my King size quilt in a matter of hours now! Guess daughter #2 will get a DWR after all. :) Thanks so much for this die!

- Double Wedding ring is easy now!!! Review by Leta

Overall Rating I had bought a DWR template set years ago, and started my first DWR quilt. Alas, it was a disaster, even with the templates. It is almost impossible to be completely accurate cutting by hand/rotary cutter, and with so many pieces, small errors add up to a big mess!!
NOW, however....with this die set, accuracy is no longer a problem. The notches keep me in the right place, and with the corner pieces being a square (instead of a wonky diamond like the template set) putting this together is a joy now, instead of a nightmare.
My daughter will now have her DWR quilt this Christmas (even though she's been married for 4 years now!)
