Die Specifications:
- Compatible with: AccuQuilt GO! (55100) or GO! Baby (55300) Fabric Cutter
- Required: 6" x 12" cutting mat (55112)
- Cuts each:
- two 3 1/2"W x 3 1/2"H (9 cm x 9 cm) A shape triangles
- four 3 1/2"W x 2"H (9 cm x 5 cm) B shape triangles
- Required: 6" x 12" cutting mat (55112).
Notice we have cut off the dog ears on the triangles for easy alignment. AccuQuilt GO! shapes are designed to cut with precision and speed-and to sew together beautifully!
Storage: 6" x 12" die board (15.2 cm x 30.4 cm). Organize GO! dies with AccuQuilt GO! Die Storage Rack (55115).
Die Tips:
- With some fabrics, after cutting, a thread or two will remain where die blades meet. Snip threads with scissors.
- Use cutting mats that matches size of each die.
- For best results, cut with die blades running under roller at an angle. Do not cut with blades parallel to roller.
- Blades on some dies are positioned at an angle. Align fabric to edge of shape, not edge of die board.
- Some dies feature specially designed corners to aid in alignment and pre-cutting.
- For fast applique, apply fusible web to fabrics, then cut shapes with dies.
- Use good quality fabric to reduce fabric stretch.
- It's always a good idea to test cut one shape before cutting many shapes to ensure fabric orientation is correct.
Care & Maintenance: Use adhesive roller to clean lint and thread from dies. After each use, with the die pick provided with the cutter, remove any threads imbedded between blades and foam. It's normal for threads to get caught where blades meet in a die. Remove with tweezers or die pick. Die blades never need to be sharpened.
Warranty: AccuQuilt GO! dies are guaranteed for one year.

Overall Rating My husband and I fish the great lakes for Salmon and our boats name is the "North Star". We have a camper next to the harbor we fish out of and I have always wanted to make and design a Mariners Compass quilt using my EQ7, but never wanted to cut the material to make one. This die made it possible for me to do. Having RA and Lupus, I am not able to do a lot of cutting by hand. So this die was the best thing ever! My dreams of stars are now a reality! Thanks Accuquilt!

Overall Rating This die is fun and you can get some nice-looking blocks from it. (I love to make star-type blocks with it.) I do agree with the reviewer who said it would be nice to have it be designed differently for less fabric waste, but I am still happy with the ease of sewing that results from pieces cut with this die.

Overall Rating I have this die and it's very versatile. It's one of those dies that you can't image using a lot of but then you really do. I do wish that the die was on a 10" mat and had one row with triangles and one with the the half triangles. It would be just a bit better for fabric waste.

Overall Rating I design quilts and am always looking for ways to make my samples faster. This die was a blessing. With the notches every block measured out perfectly and I had this top done in no-time. (FYI this quilt has 120 blocks with two of these triangles-in-square blocks in each.)
