Die Specifications:
- Compatible with GO! Fabric Cutter (55100) only
- Required: GO! Cutting Mat-10" x 24" (55113)
- Cuts two 4 1/2" (11 cm) strips
- Finished sewn size: 4" (10.2 cm)
- Lay cut strips across die perpendicular to blades to cut squares or rectangles; lay strips at a 45 or 60 degree angle to cut diamonds.
- Free project idea included with die
Storage: 10" x 24" die board (25 cm x 61 cm). Organize GO! dies with AccuQuilt GO! Die Storage Rack (55115).
Die Tips:
- With some fabrics, after cutting, a thread or two will remain where die blades meet. Snip threads with scissors.
- Use cutting mats that matches size of each die.
- For best results, cut with die blades running under roller at an angle. Do not cut with blades parallel to roller.
- Blades on some dies are positioned at an angle. Align fabric to edge of shape, not edge of die board.
- Some dies feature specially designed corners to aid in alignment and pre-cutting.
- For fast applique, apply fusible web to fabrics, then cut shapes with dies.
- Use good quality fabric to reduce fabric stretch.
- It's always a good idea to test cut one shape before cutting many shapes to ensure fabric orientation is correct.
Care & Maintenance: Use adhesive roller to clean lint and thread from dies. After each use, with the die pick provided with the cutter, remove any threads imbedded between blades and foam. It's normal for threads to get caught where blades meet in a die. Remove with tweezers or die pick. Die blades never need to be sharpened.
Warranty: AccuQuilt GO! dies are guaranteed for one year.

Overall Rating This is a perfect size for strip quilts I make, so easy.. just alternate with 2 1/2 strip die and you have a completed quilt in record time. We use this alot with the quilts for my grand daughter's organization. Quilted Hugs from Maddie. She is 7 and makes quilts for needy kids. This die makes it so easy for her to whip up a kid's quilt in no time.

Overall Rating Recently received this strip die. I had fabrics that were 1/4 yad, and was able to line them up just so and I was able to cut 2 strips with just a hair off each side. I mixed these with 2 1/2 inch strips and was able to cut out 2 quilts in less than 30 mins. Finished one quilt top in a day. Love the ease and how the fabric was exactly the width needed but If I had rotary cut it I never could have gotten 2 strips out of each fabric.

Overall Rating I am so happy that I purchased this die cut...it is sooooo much easier to make border strips. I even used it for a "Stripe" Quilt I made and it turned out fabulous. I wish I could by every single die cut they make, but I'd have to win the lottery. :)

Overall Rating So quick to cut the borders that really make the center of the quilt stand out, and make your quilt larger. Easy, quick, accurate. I love it and will never go back to the old way. I wasn't that good at rotary cutting. My ruler would slip. Now my quilts look so much better.

Overall Rating The absolute easiest way to make those fill-in and border strips needed for many quilts. Faster, easier, and more accurate than cutting with scissors or a rotary cutter, I'm no longer in fear of patterns that need nice, wide, straight strips. Once you've tried the strip cutters, you'll never go back to cutting by hand.
