I have cut 2 stockings off of one fat quarter and the cuff from white flannel for a quick and easy Christmas quilt. I had enough scraps left over to cut out mittens and bows! Will be making gift bags out of pre-quilted fabric also!

Stitch up one for each teacher and drop a gift card in. Bang! Holiday gifts are done for teachers. Stitch one for each holiday party you're invited to attend and drop a bottle of wine in. Bingo! Hostess gift done.

I got this Die for my grandkids to be able to put little gifts together for family or friends. They love the stocking since all they need to do is stitch around the outside and fill! (I put the cuff on for them first. Every time it is a clean cut and it is easy enough where they can cut (with me watching of course) many and get everything done in a day. We also have many Christmas dies to add to the stocking. They then get the glue and embellishments out and go to town. Lots of fun on a cold, dreary afternoon.

This is a great die set! It makes a traditional stocking size that is a little smaller than what we are now accustomed to but it is a great smaller size for doing charity work. I have cut many of these stocking already for our guild charity project and even made a video tutorial on how to make a lined stocking
I would love to see a larger version of this stocking - with the Studio's larger width a larger version would be great! This die could easily be converted into a Go! die since the width would fit on the Go! as well.

I am very disappointed in the stocking die because the stocking is too small. as a adult my hand barely will fit inside the stocking. And since it is so small. it will not hold much either. I think they need to enlarge it and then it would be fine.

I needed to make a quick Christmas quilt last year so I used some flannel, cut out the stocking & cuff shapes & appliqued them on blocks. The winner of the quilt requested that I put her grandkids names on the cuffs. One of the stockings was made with green flannel so I called the quilt "Naughty or Nice" See my blog for photos at scrappyendings.blogspot.com. Love my studio cutter!

I have made over 100 of these stockings with this die. I have sold almost all of the stockings and I love how they cut evenly and smoothly reducing my hand strain. I have carpal tunnel repairs on both hands and purchased the die studio cutter and this has allowed me to quilt and sew with ease and no pain. This die is perfect for nice even cuts. I cut a main fabric and then a lining fabric and marry the two for a nice heavy weight stocking, I then cut the cuff from many different types of fabric like minky for the cuff and it goes together easy and fast. Love this die would like to see a larger version and maybe a different type of stocking like a victorian boot or cowboy books etc for stockings instead of the normal stocking hung on the mantel. Love this die.
