Die Specifications:
- Compatible with: Studio Fabric Cutter (50800)
- Required: Super Long Cut Cutting Plastic (PK240) and Super Giant Die Tray (406120)
- Cuts three strips at a time, each strip 24" (61 cm) long
Storage: Store Studio dies in AccuQuilt die storage cases or storage racks.
Die Tips:
- With some fabrics, after cutting, a thread or two will remain where die blades meet. Snip threads with scissors.
- Use cutting plastic that matches size of each die.
- For best results, cut with die blades running under roller at an angle. Do not cut with blades parallel to roller.
- Blades on some dies are positioned at an angle. Align fabric to edge of shape, not edge of die board.
- Some dies feature specially designed corners to aid in alignment and pre-cutting.
- For fast applique, apply fusible web to fabrics, then cut shapes with dies.
- Use good quality fabric to reduce fabric stretch.
- It's always a good idea to test cut one shape before cutting many shapes to ensure fabric orientation is correct.
Care & Maintenance: Use adhesive roller to clean lint and thread from dies. After each use, with the die pick provided with the cutter, remove any threads imbedded between blades and foam. It's normal for threads to get caught where blades meet in a die. Remove with tweezers or die pick. Die blades never need to be sharpened.
Warranty: AccuQuilt Studio dies are guaranteed for one year.

Overall Rating I used this die to cut strips for binding 3 quilts and a wall hanging in minutes, without any strain on my hands or wrist and with incredible accuracy. This may seem easy to a lot of people but since I started to have mini strokes it has become increasingly more difficult to cut with accuraccy. With proper folding of fabric and positioning on die you can come out with nicelong strips. Thank you again accuquilt!

Overall Rating I use this die for every single quilt. Why? For the binding. It has absolutely been the best investment for my studio cutter. It is also fantastic as I'm trying to go thru the bins and bins of scraps I've accumulated over the years. I can easily cut the scraps into jelly-roll sized strips to use in all the various patterns that are out now for those rolls as well as cut the strips into smaller 2.5 x 2.5" squares by carefully laying the strip perpendicular to the cutting blades.
It can be a bit heavy to pick up and I definitely need to use 2 hands to do so - but it's still worth it!(Posted on 2/28/13)

Overall Rating I love this die! i use it daily. There are so many blocks you can cut from just this one die, it is amazing. The biggest bonus to me is it also is wonderful for cutting any scraps I have into strips. No matter what size of scraps I have I just layer them on the die and cut away. And like magic I have no more pesky scraps hanging around...just nice neat layers of 2 1/2" strips. Truly my favorite die!

Overall Rating I LOVE this Die! I recently had to cut strips for a quilt I was making and with a little positioning, was able to cleanly cut off the selvadge along with cutting my strips. What a time saver. Also, the strips were perfect. No "elbows", no wavy lines, no messed up strips due to a ruler that moved. Everyone should own this die.

Overall Rating great for my sewing group they all have a list of dies that they would like to use for a future project. our next project is going to be with applique the group wants to make a Halloween Quilt and have seen the new items that you have recently put online for Halloween.
