Care & Maintenance: Use adhesive roller to clean lint and thread from dies. After each use, with the die pick provided with the cutter, remove any threads imbedded between blades and foam. This die enabled me to cut out 475 clams in a matter of a few hours instead of weeks! What a time saver.

I have not used this die yet but am looking for to using up some of my tons of scraps for a very scrappy quilt.

I ordered this online to make a baby quilt for a friend. She really wanted a clamshell quilt but I dreaded the cutting. Then I got my Go! for Christmas and ordered this die. It even has tabs to line them up, perfect! This will cut my time cutting and piecing so I can get the quilt done before her baby shower, yay!

Well, I got the clam shell die for those really irregular pieces of scrap material that the other dies may not work with. I have many years of scraps to work thru. So, the "Go Baby" and the dies that work with are going to be my summer clean up the sewing room project....

This will make a really pretty quilt. I have seen some using the clam shape and I wanted to make one. I'm excited about trying it.

I have wanted to use the clamshell shape for some time now, but like many others, I was intimidated by the cutting. Now it takes no time at all and they are perfect. The best bonus is that it is sized for my Go! Baby.

I wish that you had a tutorial for this particular die. I guess that I'm a visual learner, and am having some difficulty getting started on a clam shell project.

Hi, Mary Ann! I don't know if you've seen this video on the Clamshell-4" inch die, but here's a link to it just in case: http://www.accuquilt.com/go-clamshell-4-finished.html. We hope this helps.

A friend wanted to make a Clamshell quilt but didn't want to spend all the time it takes to cut shells, so we purchased the die and I burrowed the Go Cutter to her. She couldn't get over how f-a-s-t she was done. She plans to do another one after she finishes the first one. Then maybe some purses and bags...

Have always loved the look of clamshell quilts. This die makes it uber-simple to gut that complex shape and put a quilt together, quickly. The tabs really help line up the shapes.
