Packer Rag Quilt

Description

I made this quilt for my son for his 10th birthday.  He is a huge Green Bay Packer fan and we had just moved and decorated his room in packer colors.  Rather than buying a quilt and paying all that money for something anyone could have I decided to make him a rag quilt using the packer fabric. This was my first attempt at a rag quilt.  I used the studio rag quilt die which made the cutting super easy.  I did have to clean the die up a little bit.  The hardest part was sewing together all the squares and keeping the fringe in the right direction.  I made a couple of mistakes but when it was complete I cut the fringe pieces which sewed back on itself.  After a wash the quilt looked awesome.
