GO! Fractured Stars - Free Pattern!

Last summer, the AccuQuilt team embarked on a quilting adventure! Two classes of AccuQuilt employees made the GO! Fractured Stars quilt together in the Dream Studio. The results are spectacular!

Niki's GO! Fractured Star Quilt

Meet Niki!
When did you start quilting?
I actually did a couple of self-designed “quillows” in high school for friends going off to college and then a baby quilt/crib set about 10 years ago. I decided that cutting out a quilt was for the birds and went back to just making clothing and costumes. The GO! Cutting system is the only reason I quilt now and love it. If someone took it away tomorrow, I’d probably stop quilting again.

What’s your favorite AccuQuilt die and why?
I really want to try the Hunter Star but my actual use favorite is the Tumblers. They are just so quick and easy to put together.

What are you working on at the moment?
I am working on a “T-shirt & Jeans” Quilt and a Prairie Point Table Topper. There are quite a few pending future projects but I try to not have more than two actually in progress at a time.

Jamie's GO! Fractured Star

Meet Jamie!
When did you start quilting?
I completed my first quilt in 2000 when I took a class.  I love the creativity that goes into quilting with the colors and designs, however when I took the class it took a considerable amount of time to complete the quilt with all the template cutting and hand applique.  I like to see results quickly with my projects.  When I learned of AccuQuilt and the cutter I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it and make a quilt as I could tell the process from design to sewing would be much quicker than before.

What’s your favorite AccuQuilt die and why?
I don’t have a favorite yet.  As I look at how I like to do projects though, I believe the 2 ½” strip cutter may become one because it is versatile and sewing strips together goes quickly.

What are you working on at the moment?
I just finished gathering fabric to start my next quilt and will be cutting strips of blue fabrics with the 2 ½” strip cutter and placing in a vertical format to look like rain.

Misten's GO! Fractured Star Quilt

Meet Misten!
When did you start quilting?
I started quilting in 2013, my GO! Fractured Star quilt was my first adventure. The last time I sewed was in Junior High, and I failed that class!

What’s your favorite AccuQuilt die and why?Favorite die, it is hard to narrow it down to one. I am just learning everything you can do with all the dies. But from what I have used so far, I would have to say the strip die. It has saved me so much time!

What are you working on at the moment?
I am currently working on a Celtic twist quilt for my mother-in-law.

The GO! Fractured Stars pattern is FREE for a limited time!
