What is the GO! Bolt™ Electric Fabric Cutter?

It’s AccuQuilt’s most compact and affordable electric cutter, designed to cut fabric quickly, accurately and effortlessly.

How do I use the GO! Bolt™?

Plug it in, turn it on and gently guide the die, fabric and mat through using light pressure. It’s designed for ease, speed and portability.

What types of fabric can I cut with the GO! Bolt™?

It cuts up to 4 layers of cotton and handles other materials like flannel, fleece, denim and leather. Find more information in the GO! Bolt User’s Guide.

Is the GO! Bolt™ safe to use for beginners?

Yes, it includes built-in safety features such as automatic shut-off when idle.

How do I maintain my GO! Bolt™?

For best results, keep your GO! Bolt electric fabric cutter clean and lint-free. To clean the cutter, use a clean, soft, dry cloth. Use canned air to clean lint from rollers. Avoid abrasives, solvents and spray cleaners.

Can the GO! Bolt™ cut multiple layers at once?

Yes, it can cut up to 4 layers of cotton fabric at a time.

Is the GO! Bolt™ compatible with GO! Dies?

Absolutely! It works with over 375 GO! Dies for maximum creative flexibility.

Why isn’t it recommended to use the GO! Bolt for cutting GO! Rag dies and select GO! Project dies that require cutting quilted layers of fabric (e.g., GO! Mini Oven Mitt, GO! Oven Mitt, and GO! Quilted Trucker Hat)?

The GO! Bolt cutter is designed to cut up to four layers of cotton fabric. GO! Project dies that require cutting quilted layers often exceed this limit, making them unsuitable for use with the GO! Bolt. However, if a customer is cutting up to four layers of cotton fabric using the listed Project dies, that is absolutely acceptable.

For GO! Rag dies, we recommend using the GO! or GO! Big cutters. These dies typically involve cutting through multiple layers of thicker or denser fabrics—such as fleece and flannel—which exceed the cutting capacity of the GO! Bolt and are better suited for the GO! and GO! Big machines.

Are there accessories available for the GO! Bolt™?

Is the GO! Bolt™ battery-powered?

No, it operates via a power adapter for consistent cutting performance.

My GO! Bolt Cutter keeps shutting itself off. Is it designed to have an auto shut-off feature? My GO! Big Electric Cutter stays on once I turn it on.

Yes, the GO! Bolt Cutter includes a built-in safety feature that automatically shuts the machine off if it’s not used within 60 seconds. This helps prevent unintended operation and conserves energy. In contrast, the GO! Big Electric Cutter remains on after being powered up because it uses a safety touch area for activation. While this design allows continuous operation, it can be harder to control in extreme environments, which is why the GO! Bolt uses a timed auto shut-off instead.

What is included in the starter set (55918)?

One GO! die, a cutting mat, User’s Guide and 5 patterns available in a free downloadable digital pattern booklet. Everything you need to create your first project right out of the box, just add fabric!

Which GO! die is included?

GO! Square-5” (4 1/2" Finished) (55716). 

Is this GO! die available in a Qube or for individual purchase?

The GO! Square-5” (4 1/2" Finished) (55716) is in the GO! Qube Mix & Match 9” Block (55777).

Will GO! Bolt be added to the AccuQuilt Trade-up Program?

Not at this time. While we understand the interest in including GO! Bolt in the Trade-up Program, it is currently not eligible. The Trade-up Program is designed to support upgrades from select older models to newer cutting systems and GO! Bolt does not fall within the current scope. We continually evaluate product eligibility based on customer feedback and program goals, so this may change in the future.
