Make a Little Love with the GO! Qube

Hi, it's Bea from beaquilter. I'm going to show you a cute wall hanging I came up with using my GO! Qube and:

- 8" GO! QUBE Mix & Match Set and GO! Cube C ompanion set

- Plus Heat-n-Bond

First I made the middle of the wall hanging and then I cut out my pieces after I ironed heat n bond on to the back of it!

I found this cute Minnie fabric and used it to cut out the basket.

I fussy cut the small heart.

With the letters die you have to lay it fabric side down, so when you remove the paper and iron it, it's still right side up.

Here are all the pieces that are ready to go.

I appliqued them all down and cut them down to 8 1/2" x 12 1/2".

Then I opened up EQ7 and played around with a lay out for the wall hanging and came up with this border using blocks that are 4" so using the 8" QUBE and companion sets.

I then cut out 20 of the chisel shapes in white.

And 20 of shape #5 in red and 16 in the Minnie fabric, plus 4 of shape #6 in white for the corner blocks.

The blocks are easy to sew, as long as you keep in mind that half are reversed, then sew them like a little house. I made 10 of those.

I sewed the 4 blocks and added them all around the center.

I put curves on the quilt and then out lined the center, and when I added the binding I also added a sleeve onto the back and hung it right above my GO BIG!
