Introducing the New GO! Wedding Medley Die

May’s Die to Try is here to bring bliss to your quilting and crafting! Meet the GO! Wedding Medley die. This charming die is perfect for celebrating weddings with projects galore, but these shapes are ready, willing and able to bring so much more to your creative life.

This die features seven difficult to cut shapes, including circles, a tiny bow, lovely dress and wine glass on a 6” x 12” die that will work with any GO! fabric cutter, including the GO! Me. You can cut up to four layers of quilting cotton with a lightweight fusible applied to the back, but this die is destined to cut so many different materials!

Get creative by cutting materials like paper, felt and craft foam. Get fancy with satin, lace and sparkles, sticky back vinyl and more. You’ll soon find yourself expanding beyond wedding to celebrate prom and princesses, wine tastings and more.

This die pairs perfectly with the GO! Paper Doll by TipStitched to create a closet full of elegant, tea length gowns, but it also pairs with the GO! Mermaid King and Queen die. Add fun fabric and trim and you’ll soon be creating all kinds of unique projects and gifts.

What a special and unique way to preserve treasured pictures from a wedding day. Start by printing pictures on Colorfast Sew-in Fabric Sheets by June Tailor. With the help of a few GO! Strip Cutters and the GO! Wedding Medley die, you’ll soon have a keepsake beyond compare. Customize it further using the GO! Classic Alphabet-2” Finished die or embroidery and you’ve created a real gem. No weddings soon? This project could easily be adapted to celebrate an engagement, prom or a quinceanera. GO! Wedding Bags

Help the wedding party celebrate the day with specially designed bags! Suzy Webster of Webster Quilts designed these adorable keepsake items for AccuQuilt using the GO! Wedding Medley die together with the GO! Classic Alphabet and the GO! Mermaid King and Queen. This is a great way to lend a cute but useful item to the festivities. Have fun creating gowns to match the wedding colors and bridesmaid’s attire – you can even make sure they have a hair color to match their own!

GO! Wedding Blossoms Throw Quilt

If a traditional guest book seems a bit impersonal, why not make this stunning, wedding themed signature quilt? Petals are easily created with the GO! Orange Peel die. Match the project to the wedding colors or the couple’s new décor, then let your creativity flow! You can personalize this die with the GO! Wedding Medley and GO! Classic Alphabet dies. This inventive project was created by Amanda Harward of Larkspur Quilts for AccuQuilt.

GO! Blushing Bride Wall Hanging

Could there be a more perfect quilt design for celebrating a wedding than the Double Wedding Ring? Here, the background of the wall hanging is created using the GO! Double Wedding Ring-11½” Finished. This two die set includes shapes to either piece the arcs or use a solid piece, and here you see the solid arcs being used. Don’t fret about sewing curves, with the die to cut perfect pieces including specialized notches, matching points and sewing curves is easier than ever. With the background assembled, customize it to help celebrate the happy couple’s special day.
