While the new handle looks similar to the original version, the comparison really stops there. This new handle is easier to hold and grip for turning, making cutting more comfortable. The ergonomic design of this handle makes it possible to cut longer while avoiding more hand strain then ever before, but the news just keeps getting better.

 

 

 

 

Unlike some technology where you have to start over with a new machine to take advantage of new advancements, you can actually change the handle of your GO! Fabric Cutter with a new GO! Comfort Grip Handle Replacement Kit. It’s a quick and simple step that you can take to make your cutting experience more comfortable ever time.

 

 

Ready to Get Started?

GO! Comfort Grip Handle Replacement Kits are available at AccuQuilt.com and your local AccuQuilt retailer. There are two versions of the kits available for the two versions of the GO! Fabric Cutter. For the original cutter, the kit is item #55125C, and for the GO! Fabric Cutter with Smoother Rolling Action (2013 to present), you’ll want item #55617.

 

 

 

 

If you’re not sure which one you need, it’s simple to discover by popping the green AccuQuilt icon off the side of the handle. If the handle is attached by a screw, you have the original version. If your handle is held on with a nut, it’s the newer version. I remember this because it’s "Nut for New!"

Fabric Cutters will now begin shipping with the new handle already installed. The new handle is not compatible with the GO! Baby or GO! Me Fabric Cutters.

If you purchased a new GO! Fabric Cutter or Ready. Set. GO! from December 10, 2022 to January 9, 2023, you qualify for a free GO! Comfort Grip Handle Replacement Kit, so be on the lookout for an email from AccuQuilt with those details! If you purchased your cutter from an AccuQuilt retailer, they can assist you with getting a new handle.
