
Hi everyone, this is Connie from Freemotion by the River and I am back with another fast and easy table runner for you using the GO! Qube Mix & Match 12” Block set. It is so neat to have 8 different dies in such a handy self-contained storage system! There are 13 block patterns included on small cards plus you can get a free 72 block pattern booklet that will give you all kinds of ideas for ways to use the dies.
Roasted Coffee Table Runner Tutorial
Finished size 12” x 36”

Materials Needed:
I used beautiful batik fabrics that are from Island Batik’s French Roasted collection.
Dark Brown - ¼ yard
Cream - ¼ yard
Light Brown - ¼ yard
Brown - ¼ yard – 3 – 2 ½” strips for binding
Backing – 42” x 18”
Batting – 42” x 18”
GO! Fabric Cutter:
GO! Big Electric Fabric Cutter (55500)
GO! Cutting Dies:
GO! Qube Mix & Match 12” Block
I started out using the Mosaic block pattern which is included but changed it just a little.
Follow the cutting directions below.
Shape 4: GO! Quarter Square Triangle-6" Finished Square
Cut – 8 dark brown
Cut – 6 cream
Cut – 4 light brown
Shape 5: GO! Half Square Triangle-3" Finished Square
Cut – 36 cream
Cut – 8 dark brown
Cut - 4 light brown
Shape 6: GO! Square on Point-4 3/4" (4 1/4" Finished)
Cut – 2 light brown
Cut – 1 dark brown

Assembly:
Use a ¼ inch seam allowance throughout and press to the dark side.
Follow the diagram below and piece your blocks making 6 flying geese sections by adding 2 half square triangles (5) to each quarter square triangle (4).
Next add 4 half square triangles (5) to each square on point (6).
Layout each block as shown and sew together.


Make 3 blocks using the picture below for your fabric placement for the center block.

Join the blocks together, add your backing and batting and quilt as desired. I used a small feather design in the center of my blocks.

Quilt and add your binding for a fast and easy table runner.
