Easily create on-point quilts with the NEW AccuQuilt Studio Setting Triangles Dies!

The quilt math to cut setting triangles correctly can be confusing which can make creating on-point quilts intimidating. AccuQuilt Studio Setting Triangle dies are specially designed to accurately and easily cut multiple setting triangles on the lengthwise grain.

Quilt blocks can be set in straight settings with blocks in horizontal or vertical rows or they can be set in on-point settings with the blocks set at a 45° diagonal. In on-point quilts, setting triangles are the triangles located on the outside edges and corners of the quilt. When quilt blocks are set on-point, it often means that the straight of grain is set on the diagonal or bias (i.e., most susceptible to stretching). To stabilize the outer edges of the quilt, it’s critical for setting triangles to be cut on the lengthwise grain so the straight of grain is on what will be the two outside edges of the triangles. AccuQuilt's NEW Studio Setting Triangles are available in five sizes—6”, 8”, 9”, 10” & 12” finished.
