Introducing the New GO! Duck Creek Puzzle-10” Finished Die

What’s that I see?  It’s a bird, it’s a plane…no, it’s the GO! Duck Creek Puzzle-10” Finished, November’s Die to Try™ making its way to quilters across the land!

This exciting new die is a Block on Board® (or BOB®) die, with all the pieces on a 6” x 24” die board so you can cut one entire, picture-perfect block in just one pass through any GO! cutter. While this classic block dates back to the 1930’s, it has a modern feel that’s really something to “quack” about, so let’s take a look at it.

On this die, you’ll find some familiar shapes, and some brand-new ones that don’t exist anywhere else, making a great value to add to any die collection. Specialized dog ears and free, downloadable Block Assembly Directions make it easier than ever to piece together this complicated block with ease. As soon as you get your die, be sure to take it for a test flight and try it for yourself.

Since this block finishes to 10”, it will work wonderfully alongside other 10” finished BOB dies, like the GO! Tangled Star and the GO! Rising Star, and of course the GO! Qube Mix & Match 10” Finished Block. You can also change the look of the block simply by setting it on point using the GO! Setting Triangles-10” Finished. You can even get creative with different ways to use the shapes on the die to create fun borders for your projects or get really creative and swap out the center block with a unit made from the GO! Qube Mix & Match 9” Finished Block that finishes to 4½”.

It’s all about color and color placement with the GO! Duck Creek Flowers Throw Quilt. Once again, you’re seeing the GO! Duck Creek Puzzle block set on point, but with the change in colors, it’s now a wonderful blossoming flower alongside “star” flowers from the GO! Tangled Star. This quilt was designed by Suzy Webster of Webster Quilts for AccuQuilt with modern quilters in mind.

Th GO! Duck Creek Puzzle Table Runner is burst of color and whimsy. Designer Lissa LaGreca of Lovingly Lissa created this fun statement piece that emphasizes the look of spinning pieces by carrying the background fabric from the GO! Duck Creek Puzzle blocks into the setting triangles. How fun!

GO! Lava Lamp Wall Hanging

For anyone who thinks you can’t make a modern quilt from a classic block, just take a look at this beauty from Lissa LaGreca. She once again used color to change the entire look of this block into something fresh and new. Rotating the blocks across the row makes a big impact on the secondary design, creating new shapes as the blocks come together.
