AccuQuilt Unveils First-Ever iPhone App to View Products, Ideas, Tips, Instructions and Patterns from Anywhere

(FREMONT, Neb., July 6, 2011) – AccuQuilt, the leader in fabric cutting solutions for quilting and fabric crafts, launched a new iPhone® app, complete with mobile access to videos, project ideas, tips, instructions, patterns, store locations and product information. The app allows quilters and fabric crafters to access AccuQuilt information to enhance their experiences while shopping, attending quilting events or traveling.

Nabity said, for example, when quilters want to figure out how much fabric to buy for a project using a specific die, they can look it up right from the store on their phones. Each die entry also includes tips and project ideas, to give consumers examples of ways AccuQuilt shapes can be used. The app also includes a store locator to make it easy for quilters and fabric crafters to find AccuQuilt retailers while traveling.

Consumers can find the AccuQuilt® iPhone app in the Apple App Store by searching for "AccuQuilt." If a customer already has an account on AccuQuilt's website, he or she can log in using the existing password, and the app automatically populates itself with current account information, including billing and shipping addresses.

Customers can search for any AccuQuilt product by category or product name. Each entry includes a product description plus a robust list of specs, shape and die board sizes, designer's name if there is one, instructions, and compatible cutters and accessories. Die descriptions include a photo gallery showing basic shapes, orientation on the die board and sample projects. All photos can be enlarged to see detail.
