Using GO! Applique Dies means that your shapes are cut perfectly each and every time without tedious trimming outside stitching lines while your project is still in the hoop.
How Does it Work?
Here are the basics of working with GO! Applique Dies and machine embroidery:
- Iron fusible onto the wrong side of your fabric.
- Cut the needed shapes on your die.
- Download your embroidery file(s) onto your flash drive in the format your machine uses (if you’re not sure, check your manual or ask your sewing machine dealer).
- Place your background fabric in your machine’s hoop with a stabilizer behind it.
- The first thing the embroidery machine will stitch is the outline of your first shape.
- Peel the paper backing off your fused and cut shape and press onto the background while still in the hoop.
- The embroidery machine will then sew down the shape and move on to the next shape and or next color.
What’s Available?
AccuQuilt provides free, basic outline embroidery in a choice of three stitches for each non-designer applique die (blanket, motif, and satin), but there are also more elaborate designs available to purchase.
