With all of the GO! Qube Mix & Match Blocks in the AccuQuilt collection, it’s no wonder that customers wanted more sizes! We’re happy to announce that quilters can now make 5” finished blocks using the GO! Qube Mix & Match 5” Block, the GO! Qube 5” Companion Sets, Corners and Angles, and the GO! Setting Triangles-5” Finished Die.
This is a five-star product launch, so we're going to show you all the exciting patterns you can make with these products!
GO! Qubes Cut Time
Just like its predecessors, the GO! Qube Mix & Match 5” Block features eight geometric shapes, including:
- Two square dies
- Two half square triangle dies
- One quarter square triangle die
- One square on point die
- One parallelogram die
- One rectangle die
You have access to 72 different quilt blocks when using the GO! Qube Mix & Match 5" Block by itself. Once you add in the GO! Qube 5” Companion Set-Corners and the GO! Qube 5” Companion Set-Angles you get more block design possibilities.
Combining one of the companion sets with the mix and match set provides you with an additional 144 designs. Add the second companion set to give yourself near unlimited creative possibilities - with 216 quilt block designs possible!
Be sure to utilize our free online tool, GO! Quilt, to see how your quilt will look with different colors and fabrics long before you cut fabric. It will make your planning process easier (and help you save your fabric for other projects)!
Just like the other sized companion sets, the 5" Qube Companion Sets include four dies - giving you a total of 16 die boards that finish at 5 inches. Each GO! Qube Block Set individually comes with self-contained storage systems to keep your quilting space tidy, a pattern book, and a free GO! Cutting Mat-6” x 6”.
Effortless On Point Quilting
Add the GO! Setting Triangles-5” Finished Die to your collection and you can easily set your blocks on point, which gives you a new look and adds interest to your quilts. Setting Triangles are the triangles located on the outside edges and corners of an on-point quilt. There are two shapes on the die board to coordinate with where the Setting Triangle shapes go on your quilt - either on the edge or on the corner.
Using a GO! Setting Triangle Die eliminates any math that you would have to do when putting blocks on point. This allows you to advance your skills in making on-point quilts.
Cutting any of these shapes by hand is time-consuming, and all of the math involved with each shape, block, and the finished project can be difficult to remember. Combine the GO! Mix & Match Qube with its Companion Sets to cut time and quilt more.
