GO! Apple Core to GO! Quilt Pattern

First you have to cut your apple cores, but that will be a breeze with the GO! Apple Core die. Notice those little notches on the curves? They will be your friend in a bit!

 

 

Fan fold your fabric across the die.

 

 

Add your cutting mat on top and roll the sandwich through your GO! Also, this die is compatible with the GO! Baby fabric cutter too...

 

 

Voila! Perfectly cut Apple Cores! Now, on to the sewing.

 

 

Lay two Apple Cores out like the picture below. Use the notches to match one piece to the other. Pin at the center.

 

 

Next, line up the corners and add another pin.

 

 

Get yourself situated at your sewing machine. Start sewing at the pinned corner towards the center pin. Use a ¼" seam.

 

 

When you reach the center, take a second to stop, and line the bottom two corners up with one another.

 

 

Keep sewing...

 

 

Press your seams!

 

 

Continue joining your Apple Cores together until your rows reach your desired size.  Just like square patchwork, your rows are joined together.  Use the notches to help line things up for pinning.

 

 

Sew the long seam...

 

 

Press...
