On National Quilting Day, we were thrilled to welcome the Omaha Modern Quilt Guild to the AccuQuilt Headquarters for a day of quilty fun!
Members enjoyed the Eleanor Burns Quilts in "Half a Day" Exhibit, and AccuQuilt team members Tammy and Erica gave a quick demo on the cutters before they started cutting their own projects.
Kris was able to cut 80 Apple Cores out in less than 30 minutes using the GO! Apple Core Die.
Tara was able to cut and sew a Hunter Star block during their visit using the GO! Hunter Star Die!
Everyone was busy working on a project...
Even Steve Nabity - the Chief Energizing Officer - at AccuQuilt stopped by to see what everyone was making!
And, just yesterday Kris stopped by the office to show us her FINISHED Apple Core Quilt! That's right, she cut this out in less than 30 minutes on Saturday and the quilt was finished on Wednesday! Kris said she loved sewing the Apple Cores together because the notches allowed her to skip pinning all together! You can read more about sewing Apple Cores here!
