AccuQuilt Dream Studio

All AccuQuilt employees get two hours of sewing time a week in our decked out Dream Studio.  There are always lots of projects in the works.  Here's a peek at what's been happening this week!

Tammy H. has been busy working on a double wedding ring bed runner for her oldest son's wedding in June.  Notice the embroidery on the blocks?  They were easy to cut with the GO! Double Wedding Ring Die.

Carolyn is busy with all the scraps from the Dream Studio. Hear what Carolyn has to say about her project:

I am working on “Pablum”  during my break times each day. I am taking leftover strips from demos and other pieces of fabric that team members are tossing into the scrap bins in the Dream Studio and sewing the pieces together. I am using GO! Strip Cutter 55164 to cut the fabric into varied widths to sew together. Hence, the name pablum….I don’t have to ‘think’ while I’m sewing.   I have a couple of ideas for using the ‘fabric’ and the AccuQuilt GO! HSTs. Stay tuned.

Niki had a whole group of Girl Scouts in the Dream Studio a few weeks back working on some awesome Patriotic Pillowcases. Niki is helping the Daisy Scouts out by finishing up the pillowcase construction.

And, we'll round up this post with an exciting quilt finish from Paula.  She shares:

I made this for my grandson, Titus, for his 4th birthday.  My plan was to have no duplicate pictures, but as it turned out there are 3 or 4. That's ok, though, because he enjoys finding TWO race cars or TWO Mickeys or TWO M&Ms or TWO "Yizzards". :-)

I used the GO! Hexagon (55011) with coordinating GO! Equilateral Triangle (55079), and the Carefree Numbers and Letters.  I also used the V-Stitch embroidery for the letters – how easy that made the applique!
