Introducing the NEW GO! Pinwheel Shape Set by Sew Steady

We at AccuQuilt always get excited when we launch a new die, but let me tell you, the GO! Pinwheel Shape Set by Sew Steady is really something to get excited about. This die combines AccuQuilt innovations with Sew Steady’s popular interchangeable shapes to create a new cutting experience for quilters.

This 10” x 24” die board is compatible with the GO!, GO! Bolt and GO! Big Fabric Cutters, features screen printed letters for clarity and specialized dog ears to make sewing the shapes as simple as sewing a ¼” seam. The 8 unique shapes on this die board are just the start of what makes this die unique. These 8 shapes don’t just make one block, they make over 25 different blocks, plus a variety of hexagon shaped “blocks” and exciting border designs as well. This isn’t just a GO! Block on Board™, it’s block after block after block on a board!

Getting Started

It all starts with the packaging! On the front of the die packaging, you’ll find 2 very different looking blocks. Flip it over and you’ll find the GO! Gather Around the Table Chargers and Table Runner Set pictured above, a free, downloadable pattern showing yet another different block made from the shapes on the die. This eye-catching block is called Dizzy Geese.

Below this section are detailed assembly directions for creating a Shadowed Dizzy Geese Block – but we’re just getting started!

AccuQuilt has assembled all the information you need to have creative success with this blockbuster die into one, free downloadable brochure. Here, you will find everything from how to prepare your fabric for cutting on the various shapes to 25 different blocks you can build.

The brochure also includes charts to help create your own blocks by showing how the different pieces work together in different ways, and we haven’t even talked about all the spectacular looks you can create by changing color and fabric placement

Creativity That Just Won't Stop

If you’re ready to jump into something totally different but very fun, check out the hexagon shaped blocks this brochure has to offer. Can you even imagine how stunning a quilt made with these “blocks” would be? There are 18 to choose from, so you could really have a lot of fun working through all of them.

But we just couldn’t stop creating new uses for these shapes, so the brochure also includes 8 different pieced borders, once again made only with shapes from this die. These borders would be the perfect compliment to the blocks in any sort of project made using the die, but would also work with panel prints. Panels almost aways need borders added to make them quilt-sized, and I know that coming up with unique ideas for this can be challenging – until now, that is.
