This is a replacement die for GO! Qube 10" Companion Set-Corners. It is intended to replace an original die in that set and is packaged in shrink wrap.

For versatility, make your half square triangles (HST) into a 1 1/4" square simply by sewing two together. You could also use two triangles to build cornerstones in borders by using a GO! How to Die Cut 1 1/4" Finished Half Square Triangles:
For best cutting results, position fabric on the lengthwise grain (straight of grain) as it goes under the roller.
- Cut a 4 3/4" strip across the width of fabric. Fanfold into 4 3/4" widths. Place on selected blade and cut. Cut 64 half square triangles across the width of fabric. One yard of 40" wide fabric cuts 448 half square triangles.

Die Tips:
- With some fabrics, after cutting, a thread or two will remain where die blades meet. Snip threads with scissors.
- Blades on some dies are positioned at an angle. Align fabric to edge of shape, not edge of die board.
- Use good quality fabric to reduce fabric stretch.
- It's always a good idea to test cut one shape before cutting many shapes to ensure fabric orientation is correct.
Use adhesive roller or die pick to clean lint and thread from dies. Die blades never need to be sharpened.
