Cats and quilts seem to go together like peanut butter and jelly, so AccuQuilt just couldn’t resist launching another little furry friend in honor of National Pet Month – the GO! Kitten. As April’s Die to Try™ die, this little cutie is only available during the month of April, or while supplies last, and only from our website or your local AccuQuilt retailer.
The shapes to build this sweet kitten shape live on a 5” x 10” cutting mat, so it works with all our GO! Cutters, including the GO! Me. Be sure you have a 5” x 10” mat handy to go with it! The die features 5 shapes including tiny eyes, nose and ear pieces that would be so difficult to cut by hand, but with the die just takes seconds. It’s never been easier to have a litter of kittens! Simply press fusible to the back of your fabric, lay over the shapes on the die, cover with a mat and cut!
Don’t worry about finding homes for all these adorable little friends, either! They are sure to make themselves at home on quilts, wall hangings, pillow covers and more. How about adding them to apparel like a t-shirt or denim jacket? Maybe a tote bag or two?
GO! dies will cut many different materials so you can really get creative. How about cutting some from sticky back vinyl and adding them to water bottles? Little ones will love building their own kittens from craft foam and felt.
