Easily Make a Double Wedding Ring Project with AccuQuilt

There was a time I thought a Double Wedding Ring quilt was too hard to make. I'm thankful that a friend encouraged me to give it a try. Now, the Double Wedding Ring is one of my all time favorite blocks!

Traditionally, the Double Wedding Ring is difficult to make, but it's much easier to do with either finished size for the GO! Double Wedding Ring Die.

I used crumb fabric for each Wedding Ring block. Yes, you can use crumb fabric on GO! Fabric Cutters. Check out this tutorial to learn how.

My friend encouraged me to start small, so originally, I thought I would make a table runner.

If you are a little nervous about the curved piecing, don't be! The die gives you notches to match up.

You can watch these videos from AccuQuilt's Cutting Expert, Pam Heller, for more help using the GO! Double Wedding Ring Dies.

I soon found that I loved the process of making Double Wedding Ring blocks. Before I knew it, my table runner became a queen size quilt. I now sleep under it every night!

If you're not as adventurous as I am, you could go even smaller and create a single block to use as a table mat.

I'm looking forward to seeing what other combinations I can come up with using the GO! Double Wedding Ring Die. If you want to see other ways I bust up my scrap statsh with AccuQuilt, check out this blog post.

Now that you know you can make a big or small one, say goodbye to fear and just give a Double Wedding Ring project a GO! Please share photos of your finished projects on social media and tag us @auntemsquilts and @AccuQuilt with the hashtag #AccuQuiltBuilt so that we can see how yours turned out!
